Sara once again grabbed an apron from the back room of the flower shop, hearing the ring of the front door bell and the sound of someones foot steps walking to the front desk.
Today is different, she thought as she ready herself to smile and be as much as a help she could to the person that was there. Ducking down to fix her hair into a ponytail with the a balloon flower bow, her big brother's idea, she did not see that it was Markus Bleache'.
Many people and things got on Sara's nerves: People that were closed minded, people that were snobbish, kittens, and babies were things that neared the top of her list but their was only one person that got on her nerves ever since she learned about Shadow taking loans for the payments of the flower shop.
Markus Bleache'.
She didn't know why but she did not like him. Maybe it was the fact that he was rich and the Devil Saints were not. Maybe it was the fact that they needed to take loans from Skylight Industries. Maybe she didn't get a good vibe from him, she did not like him. So when she raised up with her good nature smile and happy cheerful voice to greet him, she frowned.
"Well, isn't it a surprise," she said with a low tone of hatred, "What makes the world riches man alive come to the our D Saint Flower Shop? And how does it feel to be called the Da Vinci of our time as well as merchant of Death?"

When Oracle saw Sara emerge from the back room, he smiled, finally assured that this was indeed the headquarters to the Devil Saints. But the fact that she was quick to frown upon his presence almost made him worry that he was in his true form. Then he remembered.
He's still Markus Bleache'.
Apparently, not everyone admired the lifestyle of Oracle's most successful mortal guise. He did admit; when he first created Markus, he was snobbish, stuck-up and arrogant; basically himself on a normal day. But that came natural to a billionaire philanthropist. Sara seemed to be one of those people, and Oracle couldn't blame her. He could only guess that being the concerned little sister, Sara asked questions as to where her big brother was getting the money to pay for the flower shop, and the answer to that question would be Skylight Industries. And apparently it was through that approach that made her want to enlist in the anti-Bleache' movement.
He heard her speak. There was so much hatred in her voice. To imagine; if he would have came inside with his Hako Akuni guise that she was acquainted with in Paris, she probably would have ran up and hugged him before even entering the door. It made Oracle chuckle; something that Markus Bleache' would indeed do also. That's what he missed about the guise. As Markus Bleache', he had the ability to be himself.
Oracle subdued his laughter as he leaned against the counter. "I swear," he said as he observed a ficus flower pot on the wall. "You cut the funding of one dead project in Istanbul and you're instantly called a monster..." Then he looked at Sara with a raised eyebrow. "...or God," he finished his statement.
Oracle placed both of his hands on the counter like an angry boss about to fire an employee who was promised three raises since his hire but never received. Only instead of the ice-melting frown, Oracle gave a pompous grin.
"Sara Akuma," he stated her name with an eerie feel of authority over it, as if he owned her. "If I were collecting Shadow's debts, your brother would be the one visiting me. I am just merely here to observe what it is my... extras are financing. Plus," he continued as he once again leaned on the counter, this time checking for dirt in his nails, "I also come as a paying customer. I kept hearing from my secretary that this is the best flower shop in Japan and I am in need of a bouquet of flowers. I have a date this evening, you see."
Oracle then looked at Sara with one of the most smuggest smiles he could muster. "You are aware of the term, correct?"

Sara made an unhappy smirk, walking to the right of the counter that kept Markus and herself at bay with tension so tough you needed to cut it with blade.
If it wasn't for the fact that he was human and that people would miss him, the woman thought, I would have a roast right now...
"Yes, I do know what that term means," she said as she lift the the end of the counter and made her way to one of the tables that held the roses, "I'm just surprised that pricks like you can still find someone." She then smiled.
"So, tell me," she said with a sigh, "How much does she cost and would you like to use one our air pumps. I'll give you a discount if you act now." she finished with a chuckle.
Clearing her throat, she took a small black pot with a red bow wrap around it's bas. Looking at the man with a sincere smile, she let out "Look, I rather not go through this. I know that you know that my brother takes loans from you, even if I don't approve it. I do not want to give my brother a bad name. Do you accept my apology?"

Oracle caught Sara's threatening thought and chuckled as he buffed his fingernails on his shirt, meditating on the irony of the situation she aroused. It wasn't until she joked about Aika being a sex doll that made his chuckle loose a bit of flare to it. He looked at Sara and projected a thought, knowing good and well that she would be able to hear it.
Oh you were truly born a bitch, weren't you?
That was when he heard Sara attempt at an apology. It was feeble and grudgilant, yet sincere at the same time. Oracle almost forgot that she was the only person he knew that could pull that emotion off next to him. He turned around and started to admire the flowers before him, taking a brief pause after hearing Sara say "do you accept my apology" to stop and smell the flowers.
"Of course I do, my dear," he said as he picked up a red rose from an assortment. He brought it up to his nose and sniffed as his free hand was in his pocket. He held the flower like that of a liquor glass as he stared back at the shop-keep Sara with the stare of a thousand Casanovas, already knowing that she was immune to such power. "Its not everyday that I'm told off by someone as... wholesome as yourself."
Then, with his free hand still in his pocket, Oracle threw the rose on the counter guarding Sara from the possible bombardment of customers separating them. He watched as the metal end added to the stem pierced through the granite tabletop, causing the rose to stand upright in front of her, glistening from the water droplets on its pedals and adding influence from the sun oozing from the windows.
"So," he said as he ran his hand through his white hair. "About my flowers..."

Oh you were truly born a bitch, weren't you? Sara knew she heard from the nice words that he said out of the man's mouth.
She looked over to the rose he just thrown on the counter with a smirk. "Only to you..." she said under her breath.
She soon perked up, looking at the man with a sweet smile that could make regular people smile back just as sweet. "So, do you want roses or what? It's your choice, though I do recomend both red and white roses. My mom always liked the mix of both blood and light...but it's up to you."

Oracle raised an eyebrow after hearing Sara's recommendation as to what kind of flowers he should give her mother for his date with her. The irony was as familiar as a mother's tickle, which itself was ironic since he had no mother. He placed both hands in his pockets as he approached the woman with the watering can in her hand.
"Blood and light you say," he said questionably. "Quite an interesting combination there."
Oracle then smirked. If she didn't know that it indeed was her mother that he was dating, then trying to pry a few more interests from her daughter through a fit of manipulation wouldn't hurt.
"Your mother sounds like an interesting card," he said as he observed a lonely Daffodil near the main windowsill. He looked over at Sara to hear her response as he took the time to take in the flower's scent.

Sara smiled. It was good to talk to someone about her mother. As much as she wanted to hate her, Sara knew that if her mother was to show up, she would want to hug her like a child.
"Yeah, she is interesting." Sensing that Markus was looking at the lone flower that was up the window, she said out of instinct, "Please don't touch that, it's a...project that I'm working on. I've been trying to change the scent of flowers to another. I think I'm almost there. It was something that my mother was working on and I wanted to bring up the project."
That was only half-right. She was indeed working on a project and was using that Daffeldill has a subject but she using it to change the scent of humans. It was a project that the science lab was working on but because Sara's mother left the Devil Saints, they left as well. Sara found the files and went ahead to work on it.
"It should smell like roses. But anyway, have you got an idea of what flower you want to buy?"

Oracle smiled as he heard Sara's explanation about the experimental flower on the windowsill. When he did smell it, he did notice that it had a rose-like aroma to it, which did throw off Oracle quite a bit. He looked at the flower as he placed his hands back in his pockets.
"A Jezebel Daffodil, huh?" Oracle joked. There was so much he had to learn about the Devil Saints; this organization might actually become of some use for him in the future.
"It seems that your mother left an impression on you," Oracle pushed, "in order for you to be following behind her work. I always admired those who have parents; it shows that the individual has a structure to them, whether it's positive or... corrupted."
Oracle's smirk turned a bit sinister.
"So," Oracle said as he continued to stare. "What would be your recommendations for groupings as far as the red and white roses are concerned...?"

Sara made a nod.
"I would get two of each in black wrapping paper. The paper it self let the flowers stand out to who ever your giving it to." She made her way to the white roses that were in front of the red ones and took two of them. Making her way back to the red ones, she grabbed two but winced at the small stabbing feeling she felt on her index finger.
"I always do that..." she said quickly as she took her index finger and stuck it in her mouth, sucking the blood out in the process. Taking it out of her mouth, she went over to the counter, grabbing a pair of scissors and the black paper that she was talking about with the D Saint Logo, a green and White "D" and "S" that held a rose between them. Quickly cutting the paper and placing the paper on the counter. She then threw the flowers in the air.
As they came half way down to her brow, Sara took her scissors and cut the stems of the Roses, the cut flowers landing on the paper neatly. The woman then rolled the paper in a cone shape. Turning around with a smile, Sara says "That will be 120 yen, sir."

Oracle watched Sara suck the blood from her finger with nearly the same intensity Dracula watched Reinfield. Even though it didn't appease to Oracle as it did to Dracula, it was still interesting to watch. After the show was over, Oracle decided to distract himself and stare at the Daffodil on the windowsill while Sara continued prepping his roses for her mother.
There was something about that flower that enticed him. And while he felt that Sara was in fact speaking some truth behind the nature of the plant, he knew better than to just believe everything that came out of her mouth when it involved things regarding to the Devil Saints. He fiddled around with his coin of law inside his pants pocket as he stared at the flower intensely; a look that could only rival Jack Nicholson's from the film "The Shining." But he was immediately taken out of the Overlook Hotel and back into the D. Saint Flower Shop as the price for the arrangement was spoken out loud, breaking Oracle's daydream about what exactly that flower could do.
He stared at Sara, who had a smile on her face after uttering that the arrangement of the flowers cost 120 yen. Oracle's look was petty; as if he knew he was just insulted but refused to show any emotions on his face. That's one thing his Markus Bleache' disguise could get away with rather than his own persona.
"I guess that sounds fair," he said as he stared back at Sara. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. As he looked inside, he sighed.
"At least now I know my money isn't supporting anything corrupt," he said as he prepared to pull out a bill.
Oracle then stared at Sara, just by the movement of his eyes. A smirk graced his face as his hands pulled out three bills instead of one. He held them up in a folded manner, still keeping his smirk as he caught a glance of the arrangement.
"I guess you are the best flower shop in Tokyo," he complimented. He placed the money down on the counter letting out a chuckle to go along with his smug smirk.
"Keep the change."

Sara took the money that the man placed on the counter and placed it in the apron pocket that was on her side. This was pocket change compare to the cash she rakes in as a Devil Saint Seat.
Well, use to.
"You got to tell me about this woman your meeting," she said with a sigh as she laid her elbow on the counter, "I picked you as the guy that people had to say 'All work and no play makes Markus a dull boy' " She laughed at that comment she made but it was short lived.
At first, she thought it was just kids playing with fireworks or maybe city workers working on the power but it came clear to her what it was.
Just pass Markus, pass the flowers , pass the windows of the D. Saint Flower shop and into the bushes in the near-by park just out of human eye sight she saw her brother and what it looked like him carrying someone in his hands. Luckily, no one was out in the park to see her idiot brother and it was strange for him to be out there anyway.
Gotta do this quick.... She thought. She knew what she needed to do and with one person it was going to be easy. At least, she hoped it was going to be easy.
Sara nervously laughed as she hopped over the counter and proceeded to push Markus out of the door of the flower shop, harshly.
"You know," she started to say loudly so hr brother could hear outside, "I would really love to sit here to chat with you but I have to close early to...to...go to the movies. yeah, that's it, the movies. You know the one with the thing and they have to do this thing in the thing. Very heart warming, very tear jerking. You should go see it right away but I won't be at the movie theater that you are planing on going to, I go to a local one out here near by!"
All the while she was saying things that made no sense to even her, she sent out mental shouts at her brother, hoping that he could pick them up. Though, they were not very nice...
SHADOW, GET YOUR ASS IN HERE OR I WILL KILL YOU!
"I hope your date likes those flowers!"
HURRY, WHILE I HAVE THIS GUY LISTENING TO USELESS SHIT, SLIP THROUGH THE OTHER BACK DOOR!
"But you better get going!"

By the time Oracle grabbed the flowers, he was instantly bombarded by questions about his date once again by the curious lesbian Devil Saint. The complete amount of confusion in the room was enough to make him laugh. But he kept his composure, especially when she tried to use an agitated line from one of his favorite mortal movies. But, he figured that indulgence was a common trait in the Akuma family, as he observed with both Sara and her mother Aika. It was actually one that enticed himself toward the family in a whole.
Must she ask questions? he thought to himself, knowing that she would be able to pick it up.
Oracle was just about to answer, until she interrupted him with meaningless babble about movies with cliched plots as she rudely pushed him out the main door. He wanted to question why when she said that she decided to close the shop early, until he instantly sensed a trace of the same chaos magic inside his blood stream. Glancing back a bit without Sara watching her, he saw the man he hunted for a month or so, Shadow Akuma, emerge out of a bush across the street. But who it was he was carrying made his mouth gape a bit.
You... Oracle thought to himself as he saw Shadow carrying none other than Abbadon Hakaisha.
Trying not to attract any attention to himself as far as Sara was concerned, he turned back in her direction when she suggested that he'd leave, even though his head was turned at an angle that wouldn't necessarily suggest that he was looking at Shadow and Abbadon.
"Fine," he said as he raised his hands in defense, holding the flowers in his right, "I'll be on my way."
Oracle waved the flowers in front of him and smirked in a very Oracle-like manner.
"Thanks again for the flowers, Sara," he said. "And tell your brother not to bother sending in this month's loan payment. And that even Markus Bleache' has a heart."
Oracle turned around and started to walk down the street. Now that he knew that this is where Abbadon had been taking refuge, he had to alert his parole officer Toushi of his whereabouts. But he had to do it smart; he had to do it in a way that would give him the upper hand and make him seem that much of an importance to the Ha-Ou. No matter what, Oracle had to come out of this on top. Now that Toushi was his hidden Ace, he could bend the rules to his liking.
Oracle stared back at Sara while still keeping forward. A smirk graced his face as a plan for the future of the Devil Saints started to stir in his head, all while playing with that coin of law in his pocket.
Little Lotty, let your mind wander...

Shadow opened his eyes, the dimming lights of the sunset making him open them without a choice. He searched his surroundings, Abbadon, and himself to make sure that they made it back or at least away from all the Chaos.
Not only that but he also wanted to make sure he didn't lose a right arm or a left leg.
"I guess," he whispered, "We made it through alright. But what the hell was that Dog-Thing doing there and why the hell did it know me and Abbadon?" he took a deep breath and looked at the still knocked out Abbadon and smiled.
"I'm so docking his pay after this is over...." he whispered again.
Laying Abbadon on the ground, Shadow rose up from the bush that the two were behind. He then ducked back down and then slowly looked up.
"You have to be fucking kidding me..." he said again in a normal tone of voice, "...Ouside HQ. Better call Sa---" he then paused when he felt a burning sensation on his ear and he knew that only meant one thing.
SHADOW, GET YOUR ASS IN HERE OR I WILL KILL YOU! "Never mind..." he said with a smirk.
That was enough to get Shadow moving, knowing fully well that Sara was meaning every bit of mental thought. So with a bout of strength, he grabbed Abbadon and proceeded to the back door of the D Saint Flower shop. But as he made his way across the street, he saw someone familiar person leaving the shop, someone he didn't expect to see unless he was were taking the building away.
Markus? he thought as he made it over the alley way that held the back doors of all the other business that were near the flower shop and slammed through them.
"Sara call Angel!"

Sara stormed into the back room, anger was in her face and she was willing to let her brother know that. "Where the hell were you!" she shouted, "I was worried about you. You left here without notice and...." she then looked at the man who knocked out in Shadow's hands. She looked her brother and saw scars on him and the man.
She took a deep breath. "Sorry. I will call Angel now." she said as she looked down. She then heard something that she never thought she would hear from her brother. She was no stranger from this noise but it surprised her to hear it now from a person she known for piratically all her life. The sound of crying.

Shadow looked up, tears starting to swell in his eyes. He did not know what came over him. Maybe it was fact that he was almost dead, maybe he was in some sort of pain that he had to cry out but he knew that he was tearing up.
"I messed up Sara," Shadow finally said as he looked at his little sister in her eyes, "We just have to help him or...or..." The young Devil Saint looked at Abbadon. He closed his eyes and inched toward him slowly to his lips.
"Don't...." Shadow's eyes sight became fuzzy and he soon fell on the ground near Abbadon, a smile on his face as he fell to sleep.

"Sara!" Angel called out as she came through the Devil Saint door only to see Shadow and an unknown man laying side by side with each other.
The first thing she thing that she did was slide down to check to Shadow's pulse then the unknown man. "Good, they are both just knocked out." Pressing her Angel pin on her white coat, she spoke clearly into it.
"This is Angel, prep the resting room for both Shadow and the unknow man. I want this done quickly. I also need to two flatbeds on the double."
In 2 seconds, four men in white coats like Angel's with green blankets were carrying Shadow and Abbadon to the next room and were able to take them to the resting rooms, which looked like any regular medical wing, and lay them both on a bed with out any trouble.
"All we can do is let them rest...." she said as she left the room, closing the door behind her.
