Tsubasa slowly approached the Choubatsu-ou's castle with confidence. She passed the villagers, who stared with awe, and she laughed haughtily in their faces. Even the guards were so startled that it would have been easy for her to push past them. However, she didn't take that course of action. "I have brought a gift for Gin," she said to the guards softly. "I think he'll like this..." The guards nodded slowly, and one of them went to fetch the King of all Kings. Standing behind Tsubasa was his gift...

Gin sat in his chambers, reading several tomes on the work of the former king Aizawa Sasuke. Studying the intracacies of his details on robotics, celestial weaponry, and magical technology, Gin sipped his tea as there was a knock at the door. "Come in..." Gin sighed as he placed his crystal cup of Jasmine back on its matching saucer.
"Kouzetsu-sama, you have a visitor bearing a gift." Toushi said after entering the Choubastsu-ou's chambers, bowing before him.
"Who is it Toushi." Gin said placing the manuscripts on his desk, straightening his glasses on his face.
"I believe it is Mikage-sama." Toushi said, standing at attention in front of Gin.
"Tsubasa... come Toushi, let us see what brings the 'Fist of Heaven' to see me, and what she holds in store for me in her hand." Gin said standing to his, proceeding to exit his chamber, followed by Toushi close behind. "She has a knack for suprising even me." Gin said to himself.

[By the way, it's Aizawa Sasuke. Miyazawa is Chiyo's last name ^^]
Being in a good mood and knowing that Kouzetsu was the kind of kind to pick things up in person, she leaned again the wall of the gate to his castle, trying to start small talk with the Seraphim guarding it.
"So...I mean, you know, how's your day and whatever you peasants do?"
More surprising than her audacity and arrogance was that fact that she was actually pretending to care about how their days were going, and she hoped that such a thing would never happen again. But, she reminded herself that she was in a good mood...a good mood...
"ah...fine, I suppose," they said awkwardly, not reallysure how they were supposed to answer the question. "and yourself...?" they added when they saw the look upon her face.
"I'm excited, actually, to see what your Kind will think of the gift. I know that he's very maticulous about everything, but do you think you could tell him to hurry. This gift was expensive and actually have some work to do..."
she really didn't, but she liked jerking the help around. It was amusing. They weren't quite sure whether or not they should have rushed their own king or tell the scariest Elder in Heaven to wait. It made her laugh.
"Oh, this is such a joyous occasion..."

Approaching the gate with Toushi in tow, Gin walked calmly, signalling the guards to open his gates so that he may welcome in his unannounced visitor, "Tsubasa, what in Koruyuu's name have I done to deserve the honor of your visit." Gin said standing before Tsubasa as she continued to irk his attendants. Smiling, Gin gestured them away, and with a nod and salute they went to patrol elsewhere. Looking at the beautiful winged stallion behind her. Actually quite taken aback by both the abruptness of her visit, as well as the beauty of the animal, Gin walked toward the beast to examine it's features closely.
"You have managed to find the one thing in Heaven that is more beautiful than the sight of an entire battalion if dead 'fallen' Tsubasa, I am impressed." Gin said coming full circle around the winged horse.
"It is quite stunning." Toushi said, at a loss for anything else to say.
"Tell me Tsubasa, where did you acquire this specimen?" Gin asked earnestly, as he stood next to Tsubasa.

"I was acquired," The horse began, a feature that Tsubasa hoped would surprise Kouzetsu even more, "by being saved by Tsubasa in the Mortal Realm long ago. I was once arrogant, and did not know the ways of Humans. When I appeared before them, they attempted to kill me. I was bred as a War Horse, and although I have seen small skirmishes between the being of the Mythical Realm, I seek to learn more about how to serve my rider in battle. Tsubasa herself has taught me much, but I also hope to learn more from you, whom I have heard are a great veteran. My kind are a peaceful people, but I seek the experience of War. And even if I must wait until my dying days to see it with you, Master Kouzetsu, I shall wait patiently."
Tsubasa folded her arms, letting her gift speak for itself. The winged horse bowed, it's decorations shaking and jingling as it did so. "My name is Colopatiron, and I will serve you as well as this steed knows how. And I am flattered that you have graced me with such compliments.
"In terms of my visit," Tsubasa added, I feel--better. More level headed. I feel that I think more clearly, and something in me tells me that I owe that deed to you." Indeed, she had not lost her temper since the day that Kouzetsu spoke up in the Conference and became a candidate for High King of Heaven. However, such things were to be expected, she supposed, from a King as revolutionary as Kouzetsu. He had actually cared about the state of the nation, as well as had gotten Ren out of office. He was doing things in his first few months as King that many Kings had not done in their entired reign, and Tsubasa, for once, was rather happy about the way that things were going. Now, if only the other kings would jump in the bandwagon, so to speak...

Gin was even more taken aback by the tone of the horse, let alone it's ability to speak. Maintaining his composure, Gin walked back over to the horse and began to caress its muzzle, "Colopatiron it is, you shall serve me well." Gin said as he walked back over to Tsubasa. "I do not know how to begin to show my appreciation of such splendorous gift Tsubasa, truly you never cease to amaze me. If you feel that you owe me anything at all, then this definitely closes that gap.
"I am glad to see you in better spirits Tsubasa, the events at the 'Conference' and many of the tragedies subsequent only go to show how much closer those of us left must remain, to not falter like that coward Ren, and the damned Yami-ou's other leeches. Toushi, take Colopatiron to the Grotto, I will be there shortly." Gin said signaling his servants to attend to his new stead. "Come Tsubasa, let us take a constitutional whilst we talk." Gin said, walking around the newly paved roads of his estate.

Tsubasa was not sure what Kouzetsu wanted in walking with her, but she supposed that she could entertain him. He was the King of Heaven after all, and it would look bad to refuse him, even if work was waiting back at her desk. Hopefully, she wouldn't be reprimanded for anything.
He began to walk, and she couldn't dawdle behind him. She had to admit, though, that Kouzetsu had done a stand up job on remodeling the city. Not that any place in Heaven looked particularly bad, but refurbishing by a new King was something that the citizens, Elders and other Kings alike always looked forward to.
Looking back for a moment, the winged horse truly seemed happy, and she was glad tha Kouzetsu was stunned by such a gift. Many of the angels nowadays weren't informed as to the different species that existed in the Mythical Realm--considering that most people didn't venture there--and Tsubasa herself had to do her own research about the creatures there after she had discovered Colopatiron...
"Yes," she said, "we shall walk."

A distance away from his guards, Gin cleared his throat as he walked alongside Tsubasa, "So much has changed in such a short time Tsubasa, it would seem that the minute things I've done seem monumental in comparison to those of my direct predecessor. Tell me Tsubasa, to what extent did you know Tohru, and is their anything I should be aware of?" Gin asked, continuing his walk.
"Their is no need to hold your tongue in any matter whilst we speak privately Tsubasa, I am aware of the still existing discontent many Angels fell after a mere human was supplanted as King under the pretense of being one of Chiyo's subordinates. I need to have anything that might have been left open brought to my attention. The attack we suffered was deserved, simply because of our lack of preparation before hand. I didn't want to speak of these thing in front of those of a... 'weaker' constitution then the battle hardened such as ourselves, but it would seem a perverse chain of domino like events is falling into place, and we are set to only to be able to bear witness as Heaven crumbles and falls."
Gin paused, reflecting on his speech. Kneeling down, Gin plucked a small flower from the earth, and slowly began to pluck the petals as he stood, "Will we simply watch as the hand of the Yami-ou blows us away like petals in the harsh winds of fate." Gin said tossing away the barren flower, turning to Tsubasa.

Tsubasa wasn't sure whether or not Kouzetsu was saying this to win her over, or to let her know subtly that because he was a veteran such as himself that he had to ability to undo her if she did not cooperate with his regime, but his words led toward the one point that she cared about: Hell's dead fingers being finally pried away from a Heaven that seemed unable to escape its clutches.
Muttering to herself, Tsubasa said without thinking. "I should have just killed the bitch while she was still here..." It wasn't something that she considered a serious thought--Sanada Tomoyo had been loved too deeply in Heaven during her reign for Tsubasa to have done that and actually remained a citizen.
"Your presence, for some reason, has convinced Sanada to actually leave us alone--it's almost suspicious how...convenient your coronation has been. No King has made drastic changes like yours in this short a time. I don't wish to think that there is something to be worried about on your part, Your Majesty, but it is a concern of mine. I had been worried about Ren when he took up the mantle for the King of the sixth. It was something that Chiyo allowed inspite of knowing his traitorous position. And now, of course, she is no longer with us. There is something about Sanada that tends to drive everyone else away, and yet pull others close at the same time. I do not know what this is. It makes it difficult to know whom one should trust.
"You are familiar with a pupil of mine. Hotaka? Yes. He is a bit...unusual, as it seems that his memories from his Human past life interfere with his perception of things even now but...he has been raised well. He sees those infernal beings for what they are. And he know that they must perish."
Tsubasa took a pause. "I presented my King with a gift. I am hoping that you shall put this gift to good use. You are a Malakim. Members of your choir have yet to fall. However, anything is possible in this age--after we have gone through so much already--and I hope that my gift is well received. If I ever discover that Your Majesty is a traitor...I will see to killing you myself."

Gin smiled, and let out a smile chuckle after Tsubasa spoke about the convenience of his short reign as Ha-ou and the subsequent changed made during. He continued to listen as she touched upon several topics, all the while dodging the initial question Gin asked, the question about Tohru. Sighing with a slight smile of exasperation, Gin looked into Tsubasa's eyes as he turned towards her.
"Tsubasa, I can assure that it is my will and determination backed by my subordinates and the people to set things into their rightful place in Heaven that has been the driving force behind all my initiatives, and nothing more. You can be assured that if I provide anything to the contrary, I will personally hand you the blade and offer no resistance as you strike me down, just assure me of the same. I remain steadfast in all my endevours, and unlike the layabouts and fools of the past, I will not slack and become complacent.
"As for my relationship with you pupil, Hotaka is an esteemed colleague of mine. I can admit, his connection to the Humans is misguided, but nothing he has done has proven his past memories to be harmful or treacherous. His connection will give us the advantage we need to cull Hell from existance should we do battle, for his insight to humans and there ways is an integral part to several of my own machinations. I found his dislike of the infernal odd seeing as he was rather young, and was not there to participate in any combat between our Realms, but the reputation Sanada has garnered amongst the humans stands out the most in all of his past memories, it is indeed a bonus for us.
"Also do not think that this conversation show any signs of unappreciative the gift I was bestowed upon. I thank, and still admire you Tsubasa, which is why I do not feign away from any time of conversation with you. But, with all that said, you have willfully avoided my inquiries about Tohru. Tell me, was the process of Human integration into Celestial Kings that confounding? I ask you these things Tsubasa because there are few beings I can confide in about these truths, that is all." Gin said, awaiting a response from Tsubasa.
The position of Ha-ou seemed to more of curse than a blessing, for all of Gin's predecessors were not around to prove the latter for whatever reason. Gin choose to stay on his feet about all pressing issues, and would continue to goad Tsubasa until he was satisfied with an answer.

Tsubasa knew that there wasn't going to be any shirking of the subject for long. Kouzetsu just wasn't that sort of person to allow a subject of conversation to escape him. However, she made sure that he knew her stance on a lot of other important topics before she allowed herself to be directed, as she was sure that he was going to do, to answer teh question. He sighed, and she prepared herself for his usually harsh leadership.
He did, however, actually address her topics of conversation, assuring her that if he harbored any illwill toward the people or leaders of Heaven that he would allow himself to be killed. But Tsubasa had heard it all before, and it took more than idle chat and empty promises to convince her of anything. Knowing that he was a Malakim and that he was a former solider, honestly, persuaded her to his point moreso than anything that he said to her. But she stood there and listened, waiting for him to finish.
He then confirmed everything she knew about Hotaka. His allegience to the Humans was utterly disgusting, but there were no other stains on his soul, nothing else that pointed to corruption. Kouzetsu listed the advantages of having Hotaka's knowledge of Mortals, and the Ha-ou so much as told her that he has his own plans for the Archangel. Hotaka's history was of no secret to Tsubasa, but then again, neither was the fact that Sanada held influence in the Mortal Realm.
Then he came around full circle to the question. Tohru: what did she think about Chiyo's decision to make Mortals Kings. "No one truly cared about Humans become Kings," she said with distaste. "Chiyo was still alive when they were first brought to Heaven, so the fact that they were living here had already been accepted. They were Lords of Havoc--people feared that they had some lingering power. It was only when Chiyo died that the people realized who was ruling them. They had no problem with the Lords of Havoc living with them, or even acting as King of the First so that they wouldn't have to interact with Humans themselves--but being ruled by a Human Ha-ou? That was when people began to question Chiyo's obviously shoddy leadership. But by then it was too late. Tohru cared too much for Chiyo to allowed anyone to question her."
The fact of the matter was, being Ha-ou was a very good thing. However, peace wasn't all that was required. What good was peace if you were forsaking the principles that your very world was founded on? She supposed that Kouzetsu was the solution to this problem--he would garner peace without sacrificing any of the values in place in Heaven today. That was something that Tsubasa had sought to accomplish herself, but she felt that somehow, since Kouzetsu had taken the throne, that she could be content guiding him to his goal rather than leading herself.

"Yes, the idea of humans, those we were created to monitor and coddle, would one day rise to rule us is truly a deplorable idea. This was worsened by one of our own sacrificing the pride our race, vouching for one of them to become our future Ha-ou. Chiyo's leadership was always passive and quite lackluster to my taste.
Our stability as a nation rested on her mental state and relationship status, something that did not quite sit well with me. But, she was our king, and Sanada, for whatever the reason had no right to slay her, and install the puppet government that followed." Gin said, noticing that his and Tsubasa's trip around the grounds had come full circle.
"Well now, it would seem our conversation has come full circle, well at least as far as my estate goes. Thank you again for the gift and the conversation Tsubasa. Hopefully I'll be able to repay you for the esteemed gesture in the future." Gin said, extending a warm smile and a hand to Tsubasa.

[Can do!]
"Yes, the idea of humans, those we were created to monitor and coddle, would one day rise to rule us is truly a deplorable idea. This was worsened by one of our own sacrificing the pride our race, vouching for one of them to become our future Ha-ou. Chiyo's leadership was always passive and quite lackluster to my taste."
Tsubasa raised an eyebrow at this sudden revelation from the new Ha-ou. "I agree. While she maintained a rocky peace, what good is peace if you must sacrifice your morals to get it? It is not truly a peace until we can achieve such a thing with ourselves still intact. And we cannot do that so long as Hell exists. It is an abomination."
But Kouzetsu continued, revealing not so much by emotion or body language, but with the words themselves that despite Chiyo being a lackluster ruler Sanada had no right to kill. Her. Tsubasa agreed; that right belonged to her own people, not someone from the outside with a fetish for white wings. However, Tsubasa kept her mouth shut on this concurrence--she did not want to say anything progressively negative about Chiyo's reign. Despite her own opinion, the people of Heaven loved her, and they mourned when she was killed. It was her death and finally spurred Heaven into definitive action against Hell, as disorganized as it was. It had taken the death of someone important to make them realize that they could not just sit idly by...
Kouzetsu made it clear that this conversation was as good as over, as they had managed to walk around his entire estate in the short time that they had been talking, and Tsubasa did not want to overstay her welcome.
"I hope that one day you may pay back my guesture as well, although you may considered all debts paid if you can bring me the head of the Yami-ou..."

"Consider it a request I feel personally obligated to fulfill, although I cannot assure their may be a head left to bring you Tsubasa. Please do not shy away from any conversation in the future, I do so enjoy our talks." Gin said, clasping Tsubasa hand in his own in a gender neutral gesture, common among soldiers. With a smile and a nod, Gin turned and walked past the gated entrance of his estate, his robes softly billowing behind him, carried by the gentle breeze that nudged the viridian grass in front of his large home.

Tsubasa was rather glad that Kouzetsu at least appeared to receive her well; it seemed that they would get along if not only in appearance, something that Tsubasa thought was necessary for the Elders and the Ha-ou to work in conjunction with each other.
He clasped her hands in his with a nod, a gesture of respect that she recognized immediately before he headed off toward his estate and his guards. Even though he was very cordial to her in person, Tsubasa had a feeling that there was something...rather unpredictable about Kouzetsu. It would make things interesting, she supposed, so long as he didn't muck it up trying to go over the top. That had been her problem, and she was determined to fix it in this life.
As he walked away, she headed in the other direction, not bothering to travel with him any longer than she already had. she had accomplished her goal, and he had gotten the answers from her that he wanted. There was much work to do in the fifth, and she knew that Mizuki would be drowning in it as usual--only managing to keep herself afloat of all it. It was a lot of work, she had to admit, but Mizuki was catching on.
...perhaps she would go visit the Elysium Gardens in the sixth on her way back...
