Checking In to the Queen[Mei, Finished]

[Na'ame]

Na'ame sat upon her thrown after assisting her sister, Erato, create a dream sprite for a young fawn that was just recently born within the shika youkai clan. She quite please that unlike the elves, they posed no problems towards her and her people and they provided a small amount of direct dreams. She worried though that the dreams that were created within her realm would cause problems, thus she pulls samples of those dreams to watch over for close observation while letting some loose through the realm to provide more material to it.

As with that note, she felt a familiar sensation coming over her as a dream passed through her. It was her niece and it was almost comforting to her; it felt like she was pregnant and feeling that closeness to her baby. Smiling, she formed a bubble around her and the image of Mei was up inside of it. She could also see that her hair were turning various shades of purple from the reflection coming off of the bubble.

"My dear Mei, how are things in the Heavens? Are my children doing well there?"

[Isurugi Mei]

"Things are going good here. The fae have just completed their first day of training and all are exhausted. Gin is making sure that they everyone is capable of fighting in the war that will be coming up." Mei wearily smiled back at her aunt. She started to wonder then about the fae troops that were left behind.

"How are the other half troops doing? They haven't reported anything bad happening around the borders of Exile or the realm itself?" She then got another thought. She realized that as soon as these people are done with this training, she would have to go through it again with the second half troops. Aw, man. Do I really have to go through all over again? She sighed then with a look of exhaustion becoming more apparent on her face.

[Na'ame]

After hearing Mei's response, Na'ame was pleased that things were going well and it brought a smile upon her face. "That is good to hear. I see that you yourself had a long day as well." She smiled again though it almost quickly disappeared as she spoke again.

"I have the troops doing some training here too so that they will not be so behind when they switch off with the other half. I still have them doing their task as well though. I have the ground troops still stationed around Exile to monitor any traffic coming and going, as well as the aerial force keeping an eye out from above Exile and around the realm. Your other aunts are working with me in tracking movements entering and exiting the realm as well. I have come to realized that I cannot seem to keep a commander here in this realm." Na'ame was referring to Hilde with that last statement. She was suppose to be on patrol commanding a small group in the aerial force around the realm. She was already stretching her men and she didn't want to stretch them to the point where they are thin. She would have to either send someone to find her or have someone on patrol bring her to the palace where she can have some words with her.

She notice that Mei looked exhausted after sighing and wondered if there was something that was bothering her. She hope that it was not her sister acting her usual licentious ways. "Is there something wrong dear?"

[Isurugi Mei]

Mei looked on at the Queen in her dream as she spoke about important matters even in a gentle voice. She kind of figured that everyone would be working as if it was any other day under caution with the elves, though she didn't know what her aunt was talking about when she said that she seem that she couldn't keep a commander in the realm. She looked at her aunt with worry.

Mei then heard her aunt asked if anything wrong. "Oh..no. I was just..uhn...thinking about other things." She scratched her head a bit in an embarrassed manner. She didn't want to Queen to think that she couldn't handle going through the training session again and questioned whether or not she was qualified to be a queen in Heaven.

[Na'ame]

"Well, I am glad to hear that everyone is alright." She smiled but she still had a questioning look on her face.

After some time had passed she realized that Mei should go now so she can wake refreshed in the morning. "I guess if there is not anything else to say then I shall bid you farewell. Please come by soon to visit if you are not too busy."

[Isurugi Mei]

"I will try to see you as soon as possible, aunt Na'ame." Mei smiled back but realized how foreign it felt to call her that, she usually called her mother along with every single fae that existed. She started to questioned if her time away from the Queen's realm really starting to affect her.

Shaking her head to get the thought out of her head, Mei waved good bye to the Queen before disappearing to a deep slumber.
