"All material inside of the tents are regulated by the Fae officers in command. I felt it more appropriate to let the Fae micro manage themselves, as many things native to your culture are deemed as contraband within my own, I did not want to seem to oppressive to the men and women here, as I am already working them tirelessly." Gin said to Erato, his voice apologetic, hoping that the answer given would be satisfactory. "During your inspection though, be sure to pay attention to officers moreso than the subordinates, its their judgment as to what is acceptable from the rank and we are relying on more than loyalty and respect of the troops, those things are expected and need not be weighed the same." Gin said leading the way to the Fae camp, beyond that of Amelia and Mei's shared tent.
Mei was taking charge expected of her as a Commander and a King, and Gin was even pleased to see Chrysett diligence and attention to details in reference to the task appointed to her by the Queen's Sister, all this despite her timid and soft spoken nature features very reminiscent of Mei when Gin first had the pleasure of meeting her years ago. "Ladies, after you..." gin said, stopping near a group of tents, some with open flaps and people entering and exiting from breakfast and morning baths, other closed and presumable empty or secured.

After following Gin and his gentleman like gesture, Mei decided to pick out a random officer in the area. She poked her head around some of the tents and saw a colonel heading her way. She had to think for a moment what was his name, but as soon as she figured it out she called for him to come over. "Colonel Torres, we're preforming an unannounced tent inspection which is being conducted officially by the Royal Court. I would like you to pick a random tent thats under your command."
The colonel had bowed before their presence but had an uneasy look after she made her request. "Any tent?" He looked around, not knowing which one to pick but finally decided on one that seemed to stick out from it location in relation with the other tents.
Mei went near the tent and immediately smelled alcohol just by standing outside its flap. She made a disgusted face before opening up the tent for her mother, Gin, and the young fae.

Erato followed Gin and then her daughter to a selected tent for the inspection. "Colonel, I need you to stay because your under review as well. Since this tent is under your command, anything that comes up is reflected on you." Before she finished what she was saying and step foot into the tent, the alcohol hit her. A couple of concerns popped into her head right away.
The men inside seemed to be relaxing on their cots with open and empty bottles under their bed with a couple clearly in view. They noticed their company and quickly stood up to offer their salutes and bows confusingly.
"Well, men, you are the lucky ones to be chosen for my inspection." Erato said before walking further into the tent. "Why is their alcohol in the tent? Aren't there designated places for drinking?"
The colonel outside apprehensively spoke up from outside the tent. "Um...there aren't none established here. I assume that there would places off base in the other layers of Heaven. But I hear that there aren't any here in the Heavens. From what I understand there are even few places off bases for a fae to grab something to eat other than here, but thats because the celestials don't really eat or drink.
Erato look at Gin and Mei for a moment before turning back around to look at the bottles. "So if there isn't any places to get alcohol, how did these bottles show up?" She noticed that there were some that weren't even a fae's brand. "I can see that these aren't even from our realm."
"Well, someone brought some in their bag." One of the men spoke up but his voice dropped before he continued, "That brand in your hand I hear came from Hell but I don't think thats possible since you would have to probably go there to get them. I-" He suddenly stopped talking, realizing that what he said was bad enough.
"From Hell?" Erato put her hand on her hip and looked over to Chrysett to make sure she was jotting down the information from this inspection before continuing. "I'm afraid to even continue this inspection. Is this how you represent your commanding officers? You guys right now have poor marks for the upkeep of your tent. You have poor marks for possessing and consuming alcohol outside a designated place. However, I would be fair considering that there weren't any in the beginning, but that is if you give me the names of the people you brought the alcohol especially this stuff." She realized that the smell was actually coming from foreign drink and immediately located the top to seal it.
For a second no one spoke until same guy spoke again. "It was...from just one person...Commander Rosey."
"Colonel, bring this Rosey to me now. Chrysett make note of anything else that seems out of place though I'm pretty sure there isn't." Erato stepped outside to get some fresh air and made a seat in the air. She watched as the Colonel Torres left with haste and looked at the bottle that was still in her hand and shook her head.

It wasn't Gin's place to question Erato's demands and critiques of the Fae soldiers, as a matter of fact he was in agreement with her handling of the situation given there were indeed no places designated by himself or among the Fae as far as consumption of alcohol. But the source of these spirits had piqued his interest, a brand of liquor from hell, and its supplier the same Fae who showed up late, harboring unauthorized guests, and inciting violence against a fellow officer, the Fae named Rosey.
"Honestly Erato I am not surprised. This same disgruntled Fae arrived late to the grounds for training, drew a weapon against another Fae in anger, and traveled with 2 other not scheduled to be here, although one was under her direct command from the queen so that ignored from my scrutiny. The one she drew the blade on was Amelia, but I was there to quell her actions, but this disobedience has to be checked. If she has brought such things as spirits from Hell, you would be in the right mind to question if there isn't anything else she has brought with her, or left behind if you catch my drift." Gin said to Erato, now wondering what else had been going on with the Fae without his knowledge.
He thought back on when he first me Rosey at the celestial conference, a hired sword to Mei, Gin respectfully attempted to relieve her of her services, even offering payment for work she had yet to complete. But thing went a rye when Tsubasa inserted herself in the situation, making it tense enough for the girl to be threatened and draw her blade, all this before storming off, but not without personally acknowledging Tomoyo, something Gin had kept to himself for the longest, only reflecting on it now. "She may or may not be in collusion with the Yami-ou Erato, she knows her on a first name basis, and I was given specific instructions by Na'ame to deal with her appropriately, but I wonder if her grace knows these things..." Gin said, sounding a bit sincere as well as suspicious.

Chrysett tried very hard not to be too harsh in the wording of her notes. She took care of the Queen in her very chambers sometimes, and the royal family, and by comparison Chrysett would not even allow a swarm of bees to nest in this place. The alcohol burned her nostrils as they entered--she had never had any or had the opportunity to build up any immunity. She recalled that her father drank, but only sparingly, and her mother didn't like that one bit. It was very disturbing, even as a subject of the Queen like everyone else, to see soldiers, their protection supposedly, living in this sort of squalor.
Her notes were quick and precise, in bullets rather than sentences--she would convert this into a full report later. The alcohol was the first on the list, followed by the messiness of their room in general with small notes written about the state of their cots, the thrown and leaning tables and chairs, the dust on the floor and the fact that the place generally appeared to have been hit by a hurricane of some sort.
It was only at the end of her personal inspection that she added notes about Rosey, because there were too many to have written down while she was still taking a glance in the room. As Gin spoke, she recalled those words first and jotted them down. This Rosey was suspected of being a traitor. For beer? That didn't seem like hardly a reason at all. Usually, when someone was betrayed it was for power or something like that, and she tentatively added a question mark between the beer note and Rosey. She wasn't really sure what sort of motivation a person like that could have.
When she finished, she very quietly announced so. "I have taken all of the notes that I can, Ma'am." She bowed when she was finished, glancing awkwardly at Gin. She was unsure of whether or not she was supposed to be addressing him as well in this, for it seemed as though Erato was taking the reins of the inspection at this point. She flashed a humble smile and nodded, an acknowledgment that wasn't verbal. If she needed to be corrected for it, she would suffer her punishment.

"She's a special case. There is a reason why Na'ame has an interest in her. Her entrance into the world was a bit bizarre just as her actions are." She wondered if she should tell him about Rosey but figured that since Na'ame put a lot of trust in him she would tell him anyway. She glided over to him and whispered in his ear. "She was born without a mother and a father. It is because of this she had an eye on her, she had people watch her and made note of her behavior and interactions with people. There was suspicion at one point of her not ever being a faerie but an elf, though that was quickly thrown out the window because it was rather ridiculous. Na'ame started to think this was rather unfair and left her to do whatever she wanted as long as there was no harm."
She stepped back and looked to Chrysett, "I would make note of her behavior though since its was brought up." She saw that she was already making the notes and had finished. She smiled and pat her head, "Such a good child."
"As for Rosey and the Yami-ou, it will be address as soon as she makes her presence." Erato turned her attention to the residents of the tent. "You men can start cleaning this tent up."

Mei couldn't believe that this was what they found when they entered the tent and was ashamed that her mother had to see this. After the inspection was over, Rosey's name came up and she shook her head. It seemed that every time that there was a problem, Rosey was behind it. But she started to feel guilty all of a sudden, she remembered that there someone started a bonfire some time ago, probably Rosey behind that too. She knew about it but she tried to deal with it on her own without the help of Gin. She didn't want to appear as if she couldn't control her own people.
"Um...mother, there was an incident not too long ago involving alcohol. I should have investigated it then but..." She lowered her head in shame, she was looking bad and she replayed what happen over and over again as if it would change todays outcome.

Rosey was in the middle of trying to perfect her form with her sword when the colonel told her that she was needed. He say who needed her but it had to been either Mei or Gin simply because a Colonel was just under the Commanding General which was Mei. She followed him back to where they were and immediately she felt irritated by their presence. "What is it this time?" She folded her arms and stared at them.
But then she noticed Erato, and at once she started bowing to her. Rosey didn't know what was going on or why she was here, something had to be going on.

Erato wondered if the incident that Mei is talking about was related to this fae that now stood in front of her. Her behavior towards Gin was as he had explained to her before her arrival. She took a moment to observe her before saying anything.
"I hear that you are responsible for this bottle and all the others like it to make its way to this realm. Tell me, how is it that this Hellion drink," She looked at the bottle in her hand, "Windtini end up here? Do you have some sort of relation with the Yami-ou, Sanada Tomo? And not only did you dare to bring such filth here but your behavior I hear is appalling." She walked to her, standing over and staring her down. "Please give me reason why you shouldn't be tossed out of the army, out of the heavens and banned from the Dream Realm. You're walking on thin ice child." She spat out the last word so vehemently, that it she took a step back to breathe. Her usually kind nature was now replaced by one that she have shown her daughters when they went over and way beyond the line. It seemed that what this Rosey was doing was spitting in the face of Queen Na'ame after all the things the Queen has done for her.

"Rosey, Erato is being much more lenient than ought given her position. Please spare yourself further embarrassment and potential discharge and explain to us the nature of the alcohol and its connection, as well as your own to Hell and the Yami-ou. I distinctly remember you addressing her by name at the Celestial Conference, after you got into a heated exchange with an Upright, a event that was not your fault entirely, but handled very poorly on you part none the less." Gin said in support of Erato's asserted authority, attempting as he always had, to deal with Rosey verbally, smiling as he spoke, while all the while a recruit as raw as herself would have been broken by his hand long ago.
Gin could not find it in himself to despise Rosey herself, just her attitude toward authority in general, something Gin suspected was the result of being isolated and pampered by and from Na'ame. She reminded him of his Einjheriar Midoriiro, he brazen attitude and quick to a blade quirks were not the most endearing of her personality, but defiantly the most memorable. "It would be best if everyone outside of Myself, Erato, Mei, and Amelia exit this tent immediately." Gin said sharply, attempting to save Rosey from the jeering eyes of his subordinates. "Please Rosey, explain yourself, but for the faith that your Queen has in you, the faith that you can go on to become something great, a notion of promise you have yet to display in your time here."

All this fuss for a damn bottle of alcohol, was this line of questioning really necessary? Rosey started to think that this was a joke but the Queen's sister asked about her connection to Tomo and it wasn't one. She even went so far as to threaten to have her banned from home and she immediately looked up in shock. "You...you can't be serious."
Gin then added that she was being lenient towards her and she shot him a look of anger at him. "You think being banned from home, never to even be near mother or to feel her power is being lenient? And what's more unbelievable is that this is being done just because I know the Hell King by name and have a few drinks from Hell. I'm a soldier, I might not have participated in the last battle against Hell alongside Heaven, but what soldier doesn't know her name by now?" She thought that this was ludicrous but continued to speak.
"Yea I made my greeting towards her as I was being KICKED out from some stupid meeting that you celestials were having. I think its funny how you guys are getting at me for doing such thing when you people in Heaven were looking down on me like I was unimportant and threatening my life. I don't care how I handle that situation, I'm not going to let people push me around and make threats on my life. I'm not the type to back down." She folded her arms and closed her eyes, trying to remember how she gotten the alcohol.
"As I left that place, some servant of some Hellion King offer me a crate of those drinks. It could have been Tomo's or someone else's servant, all I know is that I was upset and gladly accepted because it seemed like someone cared about me. I had left it at a place I was staying at in the Mortal Realm thinking I would save it for some special occasion. But after being here, I decided to go back and bring it back for everyone to wind down. Kouzetsu already talked to me about leaving so there is no reason to bring that back up again."

It appears that Rosey didn't really care if anyone could hear what was going on and started to speak before anyone made any action to move. Mei felt the need to say something to her, however she figured that she would just say what everyone else was saying. Besides her mother and Gin seemed to have a handle on things so there was really nothing for her to do. Instead she stood there watching the fae drop what they were doing to leave, moving past Rosey as she spoke.

"Your lot could be much worse than you believe it be Rosey is all that was meant. No one would see you excommunicated from your home over such a trivial matter as that of alcoholic consumption, it is the lack of respect in which the major problems lie. Back then, at the Celestial Conference, as ashamed as I am to admit, all those gathered, my friends, colleagues, and esteemed opponents bickered like children, there was no need for you to see that. But you were all not to be dismissed without compensation, and I tried to see to that personally, imploring to take the silver I provided graciously, but I was shunned aside so you could engage Tsubasa in a feeble shouting match, one that thankfully didn't escalate beyond heated words." Gin said as he walked close to Rosey, sighing as he placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You are a solider, no one here would doubt that Rosey, but a solider knows when to listen and when to respect their superiors. We questioned your connection with the Yami-ou not under suspicions of your own deceit, but hers. You would not be the first person to be enthralled with her, gifts, favors, and kind words are the roses whose thorns bare the vilest poison, we asked out of concern for you and others. There has been too many attacks, and lives lost due to these deceptions, yours can not be one of them. If you feel a negative association with our line of questioning, then I most certainly apologize for your discomfort, but that is where it ends Rosey. Blindly accepting any form of patronage from the enemy of an allied nation can be deemed treasonous, but Tsubasa and the other rumormongers aren't here to threaten you, just us." Gin said, his voice rather sad. He honestly wanted to get through to the headstrong Fae, but her stubbornness was proving rather difficult.
"You may not be concerned, but I am, and unmarked crates of Hellion contraband brought into a recently attacked nation will never suffice under any responsible leadership. I can't make you understand me if you will not heed my words, but consider the fact that the Yami-ou has recently been in the realm of the Fae without the Queen's notice, attending to those in the City of Exile presumably for intentions no one is aware of. I don't want to fill your head with lies and slander, but heed my words as a sovereign ruler, it is not in good fashion to presumable enter the realm of a another sovereign without their notification. Why else do you think we would question you over something as simple as a bottle of spirits, there are higher powers at work here Rosey, and besides, how can being impaired hope to help during the strenuous nature of nature of our training here? Recreation is one thing, but will you bare the responsibility of your men when they are enabled from participating in the daily exercises?" Gin asked the boisterous Fae, his voice now taken back to its normal octave.

It would seem that Na'ame was right to have this fae here under Gin's authority. The way he talked to her, he talked in way that was expected of an officer would to one that he was disciplining. But then it seemed that he started to talk to her in a fatherly way, something that Rosey probably needed. Queen Na'ame made sure she took care of the motherly aspect of her life whether it would herself of someone she had place to watch her. Perhaps she felt the Gin would take care of what she missed.
She promptly added her input after Gin made his comment about the alcohol. "Back at home, it may not be uncommon for soldiers to seek recreation in a bottle. That I have no issue of which is why earlier I asked if there was such designated spots for one to consume spirits. But what bothers me is that you brought back bottles of this drink not knowing what effects it may have on everyone else. For all we know this could have be poison, poison disguise some sort of peace offering to appease you as Gin would say. We may know have to monitor everyone's health or those that may have had a drink. Chrysett, add that to the list of things that need to be done." She made her request without taking her eyes off of Rosey.
"While I'm happy to see that you were truthful in your words, I wish that you would change your behavior here. Gin and everyone else that are higher than you should not have to battle through your stubbornness just to get you to do something. I'm sure you don't want to upset your Queen because of your lack of respect for authority."
She paused, thinking about what would be the best course of action. "Gin, the alcohol is not a problem for me so that issue is struck off the list. I'm sure you have facilities here in your disposal to further investigate what is in these bottles to be sure that there are no harmful ingredients. Furthermore, since the Queen decided to place her people in your care, I think it would be best that you decide on what punishment she should get for her disrespect.
"Since we're done here, I'll tell the people here to collect any bottles that may be left over for the investigation. I'll also be on a look out for Amelia so we can start inspecting tents under her care." She opened up the flap and made her way outside to tell the fae outside to gather bottles and place them in a container near the food tent.

Rosey didn't really care for Gin's speech especially explaining how bringing drinks from the enemy to a place that was recently attacked would pose problems. They were just some drinks she brought, she started to feel like she was back in the Mortal Realm where the mortals made a big deal about illegal stuff. But her mind quickly went back to what he was saying about the Yami-ou's unannounced entrance to the Dream Realm, something she figured was a big deal considering Erato was here and his knowledge about it. She figured that there were things happening that she was unaware of, she wouldn't show it. Instead she just stared at him while went on about how being drunk and other stuff she didn't care about.
Erato seemed to back him up in his statements, even throwing in that the Queen would be upset. All she could do was looked to the ground in guilt; the last thing she wanted to do was upset the very person she pledge her allegiance to.
However, Erato left the punishment up to Gin, which was a shock to her but she clenched her fist in anger, not saying anything about it. She felt that because he wasn't a faerie he shouldn't be allowed to do such thing. But Erato left, leaving her to her fate with Gin. She looked to Mei to see if she would say anything only to be staring at a blank face. She thought that a commanding officer should at least say something about their men, and silently cursed her in her head for being incompetent.

It was now Rosey and Gin the stood alone in the tent, and with his hand on her shoulder, he didn't need his Law magic to sense the uneasiness the brew inside her. If the clenching of her first was any inkling of her dissatisfaction, her silence spoke volumes as to her sullen disposition. Most frustrating to Gin was, as always his refusal to acknowledge his authority with eye to eye contact, her gaze concentrated on the ground during both his and Erato's address. "Have you nothing to say child in your own defense, will you just remain passive in your dealings with me, harboring your feelings of angst and bitterness toward me and others reaching out to you." Gin said in moderate disappointment as he removed his hand from her shoulder.
It was then that the Ha-ou reflected on past betrayals and discord from unruly and disgruntled soldiers, his own Fallen Sargent and Kanjin Taiyou among the few, and as a Malakim, this notion of honor less conduct was the most disturbing of revelations. Gin refused to accept this as an end, and as such he attempted to make his last attempts at reaching out to Rosey. Stepping in front of her, he lifted her head so that her gaze met his own, "Well solider, you have leave to speak freely, do you have anything to address to me before you are to be sentenced to your punishment?"

Rosey didn't say anything to him after he questioned her and she saw no reason to do so. He removed his hand off her shoulder and she relaxed a little but her hands remained clenched. She still don't see why people should bother her so much about the things she did, it wasn't like she killed anyone.
He lifted her chin up so that her eyes met his after a moment of silence, her eyes immediately going red and the air around her heating up. Her hair started to turn red but not fully. She let out a breath which seemed like she was holding forever and the air cooled down a bit and her hair back to its dark color. Her eyes were still red though and remained locked to his with a burning stare. She wanted to hit him in his face, especially now that it was close to hers. She wanted that satisfaction, not caring what the consequence was but she knew that it wouldn't go well with the Queen.
"I have nothing to say. Just hurry up with the punishment so I can go back to work on my form."

Chrysett wasn't sure what to make of the events unfolding before her eyes at the moment. She didn't know whether to be eager or downtrodden. The little Fae had never seen a soldier being punished, and Rosey wasn't being nice to Gin at all. His voice, authoritative like she thought a King's should be, was slightly scary and she hoped that she would never hear Gin speaking to her like that in that tone.
Rosey had been given the opportunity to speak and didn't take it, and now Gin was about to sentence her; Chrysett couldn't bare to look. She turned away, clutching the clipboard that Erato had given her to her chest in what she viewed as a moment of suspense.

As Gin looked into her eyes, there lie nothing but anger and frustration, most likely aimed at him. His words seemed to have truly failed to reach her, her lax attitude toward his method of discipline leaned the harden Celestial to the notion that he had indeed failed in his attempt to bridge the gap in communication. Just staring at her, his hand on her chin, he could feel the intensity of her insolence, the air around them heating up dramatically, his Law magic indicating a rise in the levels of her magics, justified with her brief hair change, and pupil dilation.
She professed to having nothing to say, to which Gin replied, "Indeed, I regrettably considered such. This could have been avoided, but since you seem so eager to practice your form, it seems you shall be granted the opportunity..." he said, removing his hand from her presence completely. Gin's face had become devoid of any emotion at that point, his visage pristine and absolute in his stoicism, as if it were carved from stone, he turned sharply, and went to the tent's door, opening the flap. "Exit the tent now and receive your just reprimand." He said in the coldest of voices, whatever heat Rosey filled the tent with had now all but fled. Stepping outside, Gin walked over to Erato and the other Fae she seemed to be near. "Have all men under Rosey's command exit the barracks and report to the training grounds, and bring me two swords." Gin said in the same voice to the colonel.
Gin made his way to the training grounds, stepping inside of the designated area for swordplay. It was there he loosened the sleeves of his tunic, proceeding to rolling them up to his elbows. After which, he examined the bottom of his boots, noticing a nice amount of stones in the treads, to which a sent a surge of Law magic into the surrounding area, locating all the random concealed stones. With a wave, the small rocks were levitated and expelled from the grounds, as the Fae solider came to him, carrying two swords. They were nether dull nor sharp, but would serve his purpose. Removing a sterling whetstone from his pocket, usually used reserved for sharpening his signature sword, he dismissed the Fae, and proceeded to sharpen the weapons, carefully and with smooth grace, he finished and planted one inside of the soft soil, blade down hilt up and grasped the other in his hand. As he stood waiting, he noticed the grounds begin to swell with onlookers, nearly all of them Fae, presumably under Rosey's command, as he opened the buttons of his shirt, his chiseled yet scared body barely visible under his undershirt.
"Here me now all ye who have gathered. I, Kouzetsu Gin, Ha-ou and Commander of all Forces present stand before you today with the purpose of military discipline of one among your rank, as per the request of the Queen's sister Erato. The one to be punished is the Fae Commander Rosey, for the crimes of possession of contraband, and the distribution of said item, tardiness, insubordination, and exhibited hostility toward a superior officer on two separate occasions. The guilty has assumed all responsibility for the wrong, and as such, will receive 10 lashes for the acts in question, twice the amount carrying the burden for the accused who have been granted partial absolution in the case of the incident. Rosey, stand forth and receive the fruits of your ill labors, for this is divine punishment." Gin said, booming his coldest, monotone voice, so that all would here and be aware of what lie ahead.
He no longer was concerned with how this would go over with Rosey, coming to the conclusion that she was nothing like Midoriiro, who despite the rough exterior, knew when to not question authority, especially the likes of Kouzestu Gin. There he stood, the planted sword inches in front of him, waiting patiently for Rosey to show herself, so he could put an end to this spectacle, and instill discipline in Rosey she so desperately lacked.

When Gin left, she stood there in the tent in silence for a second, allowing the cool air that rushed in to help calm herself down. Her eyes reverted back to their original color as she could barely hear Gin's orders to who ever was out there, possible the colonel was still there. Another second went by and she could hear the commotion of people making their way to the training ground and she stepped out the tent to do the same.
As she got closer she could hear Gin making his announcement of the punishment she would be receiving. She push past the growing crowd and stood before him, straight, stiff, looking at him as if she accepted her fate. "Ild, stand aside." Her fire spirit made his appearance from her person in a shape of a fiery fae and went over to the sidelines.
