The time it took to travel to the military camps seemed almost instantaneous to Erato. It sent her heart racing, but she kept her composure and remained calm. All she saw were tents littering the entire area with most of them almost the same colors. In the distance she could see a large city but couldn't really make up what the buildings look like; the city just looked like a reddish brown blob in the background.
She expected by now that everyone had gotten done eating and perhaps finished cleaning up. She wondered though if all these tents were all faeries. "There are a lot of tents scattered about, are all of them the fae's? I don't recall Na'ame sending this many out."

"Ah yes, I requested as many troops as the Queen could spare, as many possible without compromising the security of the Fae Realm. All those here will be able to take back their training and experience and pass it on to those unable to make the journey. They needed some reinforcement initially, but the Fae troops have proven themselves to be hardy and industrious soldiers, and when they return home they will be more than prepared to deal with the Elven uprising, should the most unfortunate come to pass." Gin said looking alongside Erato at the Fae troops performing their daily training exercises, their transportation jutting slightly as it made it made its decent.
When the vehicle, came to a full stop on the ground, Gin moved to open the door for Erato, the bright sunlight crept into the furnished Air Carriage, and the stairs extended to the ground underneath the open door. "After you..." Gin said smiling handsomely, the sunlight reflecting off the golden brim of his glasses, making his flawless lenses look see through, straight to the black pools that were the Ha-ou's eyes.

Chrysett just tried to remain quite about the whole thing. After the kindness that she as shown after her outburst during the meeting, she still felt embarrassed despite being acknowledged by the Ha-ou. All of the sights were wondrous, and very much enough to quiet her, in any case. Even the training grounds seemed special. She had never seen military training while it was carrying on, even in her own Realm, and she felt as though she was being let in on a secret, something that she wasn't supposed to tell anyone else. And she wouldn't...except perhaps her sister in the Mortal Realm. Chrysanthemum wouldn't tell anyone about it, and from what she was told about the Mortal Realm, no one would have believed her anyway.
Erato was questioning the King about the troops, and Kouzetsu-san was very much kind enough to hold the door open for the Queen's sister and help her out. However, even after Erato's exit, Chrysett didn't move. She was a lowly servant, and despite his gentlemanly ways, she would be the last to exit the contraption. She kept her head down, always in reverence of the royalty around her, just as her mother had taught her; her body must always echo respect, and she tried her hardest to do so, moving her turquoise hair and brushing it back behind her ear as she waited.

Erato eased herself out the celestial vehicle and looked around once more. She wanted to see her daughters before she proceeded with the inspection. "I would like to check on my daughters first before I start any business. As a parent, I've been worried about my children. This is the first time that had both my children leave the palace and the realm so you can understand my concerns. Especially concerns with Amelia. Do you know where they are located."

Mei saw a transport vehicle landed near the edge of the "tent city" and went off to see who could it be to satisfy her curiosity. She emerged out of the field of tents and saw that it was her mother with Gin.
"Mother?" She ran towards her mom and hugged her tightly. "I can't believe you're here. Wh..what are you doing here? Did you just get here? Did you stopped by any other realms?" She was so surprised by her mothers sudden appearance she didn't know what to do. She noticed she didn't come alone, one of the maidens that resided in the Queen Na'ame's palace was with her. Perhaps her mother was here on a official business from the Dream Realm.

Reciprocating the hug, Erato tightly hugged Mei back. "I'm here to do an inspection on the military forces the Queen sent. I also missed my daughters." She hugged Mei again and held her out to look her over. "So how have you been since I last seen you? You seemed to be doing well. Where is your sister?" She looked around and starting to become concerned. If Mei wasn't with Amelia, then Amelia was free to do whatever she wanted to do.
She turned to Gin, "She hasn't left this layer has she?" She notice that behind Gin, Chrysett was still her seat. "Come Chrysett."

"Yes, Chrysett, please set aside your bashful ways, my troops are all well groomed and they won't bite..." Gin said, extending a hand to the carriage to help Erato's assistant out onto the soft grass of the Ichisou. It pleased Gin to see Mei embrace her mother, he had been working his kings rather hard of the last year or so, and he could only assume the last time Mei saw her mother was when she escorted him to the Queen's palace. "As for Amelia, I am more than sure she is here with her assigned Fae. I hope it pleases it you to know she has been rather diligent in training the Fae army, taking a rahter active role in shaping her men and women." Gin said smiling as he turned toward Erato, his left eyebrow arched slightly as he turned to the direction of his close confidant Mei.
"I must say, I have not been nearly as impressed since... why, since another young Fae graced my realm, so eager to prove herself and her loyalty to her new home, in a time it was so desperately needed." Gin said, now looking into Mei's eyes, his warm stared peering through his spectacles. She had come a long way from when she first arrived, most of her timid nature now replaced by an air of professionalism and maturity, qualities that only set to endear Mei closer to the Ha-ou as the friendship developed over the last few years. "Ah, but we can gallivant later, the barracks for the Fae are located to the rightmost field."

"Yes, your majesty."
Chysett, keeping to her customs, took Gin hand when it was offered. She would not refuse a monarch. With his assistance she stepped out onto the training grounds, looking in all directions to survey the pearl of an experience she had been given. The grounds were hustling and bustling, with movement that she was very much accustomed to. The castle at home was very much the same, and she felt comforted knowing that there were so many people about, so many things to do, so many people to serve and make happy. The crackle of action in the air cause her to be a bit more jumpy, and after she was helped out of their transport she silently began to bounce on the balls of her feet--at least, until Mei made an appearance.
She lowered herself to the ground at Mei's presence, at Erato embracing her daughter; the site was wonderful, and made her think of her own mother, but at the same time she was humbled by the love shared in the royal family. She heard mention of Amelia, another princess, from Gin, and felt a knot form in her stomach. So much royalty in one place...it was breathtaking. She held her place on the ground, even amid the lack of flooring and comfort. It was her job to be of service, and she must not allow herself to be too charmed by the kindness of royalty to forget her duties.

Mei blushed a little as Gin talked about how impressed he was with even though she thought she could never amount to some of the other Kings. Especially Setsuna who rarely left her palace because she was too busy even when she was sure she had many assistants to help her.
She watched the young maiden fall to the ground in a bow when she exited to the vehicle. Its been a long time since she has ever been honored in such a way. The Celestials here had their own way of showing respect that she has now grown use to. Nevertheless she felt that she didn't need to do such a thing because it seemed out of place since they weren't in the Dream Realm. "No need for that Chrysett, you can get up."
Gin mentioned where the faerie barracks where she took her mothers hand. "I can lead you there mother. Hopefully we can run into Amelia on the way there or when we get there." They walked off towards the barracks.

In response to Gin's praises about Amelia, Erato raised an eyebrow. Perhaps her assumptions about her daughters behavior weren't correct but she rather be on the safe side. She was pleased to know that both of her daughters had prove themselves among the Celestials.
Mei grabbed her hand after Gin pointed out where Amelia might be and led her towards the barracks. Erato called out for her assistant, "Chrysett, don't fall behind." She hoped Gin would follow as well.
As they approached the barracks, many of the fae were socializing and going back and forth between the varies tents. They soon realized that Mei and her mother either walking towards them or by them and they immediately stood rigid in attention. Most of them were surprised to see Erato there but tried not to show it. As soon as she passed by they started questioning on why she was there and many were hoping she didn't bring bad news from home.

Amelia was very tired, more so than usual. She pushed her self really hard today just so that she could attract Gin's attention. He had disappeared and it made her worried a bit. "I shouldn't have to try so hard to keep a guys attention, whats the matter with me? I should probably go after some other celestial that isn't such a hard worker." She sighed and wiped her brow with her forearm. She could feel the dirt and sweat she just wiped off and was grossed out by it. "Egh, I need a bath and I need to not push myself so hard again."
She went to turn to her tent to grab a towel so she could bathe but before she turned completely she saw her mother. "Huh? What she's doing here? I hope she hadn't found out about me and Gin." She started to get nervous and bit her nail to try to calm herself. When her mother and Mei got close enough she tried to straighten herself out. "Hello mother, what brings you here?" She started to think that this was the reason why she hadn't seen Gin around.

Gin kept close to the rear to allow Erato and Mei the time to engage in small talk. He was pleased the the camp was in order, as well as the fact the Mei took well to his compliments while maintaining her composure, hoping to alleviate some of the Fae Queen's sister's concerns. As they approached Amelia's tent near the rear of the camp. For a moment his mind wanderer onto remembering the passionate night they shared, and Gin could only chuckled to himself as he allowed a smile grin to creep up the left side of his face "Quite".
Momentarily, Amelia came into view, draped in a towel, either coming from the showers or preparing to head in their direction, he dry hair indicating the latter moreso than the former. Gin was only footsteps behind Mei and he mother, accompanying Chrysett closely, aware of the girl's awkward nature in the presence of royalty, Gin tried to offer some words of comfort.
"There's no need for extra modesty here dear, as you can see, some of us are most comfortable in our humblest of dress, no matter how high the nature of their birth." Gin whispered to Chrysett, his grin in view to the shy maiden. "Commander Amelia, have we come at a bad time?" Gin said rather cheekily, steeping ahead to match the position of Erato and Mei, eying if only for an instant the pristine and shapely features of Amelia's body, before his coal black eyes directly me her gaze.

"No need for that Chrysett, you can get up." Mei had always been kind like that, as Chrysett remembered. The only member of the royal family that she hadn't been fond of was Amelia. Many a night her mother had come back with stories of the girl's escapades, of how her family's patience with her was also growing thin. She was flirtatious and had a bad attitude most of the time to boot. As the older royalty spoke about running into her, Chrysett hoped that she would be able to maintain an air of respect.
"Chrysett, don't fall behind." Erato's words caused the girl to hastily bring up the rear of their party.
"Yes ma'am," she responded. And indeed, they did run into Amelia, but the girl seemed radically different than how Chrysett remembered. She seemed as though she was in a rush, whereas she previous seemed to do everything at her own pace, even orders from her mother. Even so, was that a glance at Gin that she'd spotted? She hoped that Amelia hadn't set her sights on the noble King; he would never engage in such lewd behavior. For one time in her life, Chrysett knew, she would be disappointed. A part of her wanted to see that happen, but she very quickly locked those feelings away. There was nothing but respect for the House that she served, and it wouldn't do to feel anything else. She simply took her place at the ready, in case Erato needed anything, and tried to seem invisible. That was the greatest task of a handmaiden. To be useful and also intangible. The hand that cannot be seen.
It was difficult to attain that state, however, especially when Gin turned to speak with her directly, something that she wasn't sure that she could get used to. "There's no need for extra modesty here dear, as you can see, some of us are most comfortable in our humblest of dress, no matter how high the nature of their birth." Chrysett did her best to smile, even curtsying a bit at this words. Regardless of what was said to her by royalty, no matter how nice they seemed and what kindnesses they did her, she would never lapse into an informal form. It was one of the rules that her mother had taught her. If they had truly wanted her to be an equal, then she would be named one and she could consider her duties alleviated from her person. However, until then, no matter how nonchalant they appeared, it was her job to elevate them, and it make obvious the difference in their stature. It didn't mean that she disliked her position; but it was part of a hand's job to make royalty feel as they were--just that.
"Thank you," she whispered lightly with her curtsy, and did nothing more while they continued their conversation.
It seemed that they had indeed come at a difficult time for Amelia. If she was smart, Chrysett thought, she would say no. In her opinion, however, Amelia wasn't very wise at all--and if she was, she allowed that quality to be overcome by her own arrogance. Chrysett braced herself for whatever bungle of a response that the young commander was going to issue.

"Well, I was going to take a bath. I've been busy all day. I mean look, I'm dirty and sweaty." She wiped her brow with the towel and held it for them to see, especially Gin. She wanted to show him that she had been working hard to please him but she really wanted to please him in a different way.
She then noticed the handmaiden trying to hide herself. "She's so cute! Mother can I keep her? I wanted to replace the one I had so badly plus I had to leave her." Forgetting all about Gin for that moment, she got closer to the girl and started to pull at her cheeks. Unlike this girl here, the one serving for Amelia started to questioned her and get in her business which made late night rendezvous difficult in the palace. She hated having to remind her where her place was. But this one here didn't seem like the type to question authority, the type that did whatever it was told. She couldn't remember though if its because she was one of the ones that had a long line of families that served the royal family or not. However she didn't care as she inspected the young fae as if she was some new item.

Erato could see that her daughter Amelia wasn't expecting her presence here and wasn't surprise the reaction. "I'm here to check up on things dear." Gin asked if this was a bad time and Amelia explained that she was actually on her way to take a bath and showed that them how sweaty she got. She turned to Gin with a smile on her face, "I can see that you weren't kidding about giving the fae rigorous training to prepare them for battle."
Amelia then started to get interested in Chrysett after noticing her. Erato massaged her her forehead in annoyance. "No. She has important duties from the Queen to do while she is here with me. Plus you had to leave your handmaiden behind because they have no business at a training camp and would only get in the way. Honestly, leave that poor girl alone."
She felt that precious time was being wasted now for the real reason why she was here. "There is another reason why I'm here, Amelia, and thats to do an inspection of the army and the aerial force. Your bath would have to wait. I want everybody in their tents so I can start phase 1 of the inspection." She untied a small pouch that at her hip and pulled out a clipboard, that look as if made out of marble and the paper made out of the softest cotton, that wouldn't normally had fit into any regular pouch. She held it out for Chrysett to take. "Chrysett I need you to handle the checklist and make notes for me while I'm doing the inspection. Gin, I don't know how the Heavens do their inspection but if you want to do them while I'm doing mine then that'll be fine. It would probably save time too. I'll being doing them in parts over a course of a couple of days if you don't mind."

"You may take as long as required to inspect Erato, your stay is as welcome here as any other guest of my Kingdom. As far as the Heaven methods towards inspection, it did not plan to judge the Fae by our standards as the models of each military are not the same. I shall follow behind you, analyzing and critiques based on the specifications I laid out to her Majesty, you sister." Gin said smiling at Erato warmly. He took the time to admire her penmanship and was impressed with the quality of the parchment she wrote on, something he would have to inquire about and request most friendly at a later time.
Turning to the unabashed Amelia, Gin adjusted the cuffs of his shirt as he gathered his words, "Your mother, sister and I would greatly appreciate it if you would be so kinds as to escort us during the inspection Amelia, you above everyone else should be there to reap the praise of your hard work and dedication to your troops, but after you bathe of course. Erato, I'm sure if she was given a few minutes to freshen up, she would be apt to join us with great haste. We should all look our best before the men and women of rank." Gin said softly to Erato, his voice buttery soft, one would be hard pressed to determine if it was his charm, a small degree of Law magic in his voice, or both as he spoke to the queen's sister in his request.

Stepping forward to speak, Mei offered up her opinion, "I think we could gather up the top officers like the colonels and majors in the army to start the inspection while Amelia freshens up." She thought it would move things along considering she felt Amelia was getting off topic and it seem Gin wanted to move on to get the job done. Thankfully he was the kind of guy that was all about doing work although she found his voice to be soothing but there was something else to it too unlike his usual voice.

Chrysett tried very hard to stand still and not reflexively reach out halt the woman who was touching her. Luckily, Erato came to her defense and pulling stopped. Her cheeks were red, but she did not reach up to rub them--that would be rude, and would imply that someone of higher rank had been imposing her; if they were of higher rank, it was never an imposition.
There was a ton of conversation going on, but most of it wasn't for her. Chrysett very aptly relieved Erato's clipboard and paper. There was already a quill attached to the top, and even Chrysett had the magic to enchant it to write. "Chrysett I need you to handle the checklist and make notes for me while I'm doing the inspection."
"Yes, Erato," she answered. "Simply dictate and I shall pen your words." She simply stood aside, part of the background once more as they talked out the best way to do things. Gin suggested allowing Amelia the time to freshen up, and while she normally wouldn't given Amelia the time of day unless ordered to do so, and she honestly believe that Amelia should have already been ready for this, she found herself leaning towards Gin's logic for no other reason other than that it sounded good and logical. Gin was probably a bit more lenient towards Amelia, anyway, as she was sure that Gin hadn't had to do deal with her obnoxious ways in very close proximity as she and her mother had done in the past. But these opinions were not to be voiced out loud, as she had chided herself before, and she simply waited for these rulers to come to a conclusion.

"Fine, I won't take long for my bath. I'll be in and out." Amelia said after all the talking between everyone else. She didn't even wait for her mother's response before she walked off to the baths. She didn't even understand why an inspection was being done by her, usually it was left up to her and Mei. As she walked she wondered if there was something else, another reason why her mother was here. She couldn't have possibly missed her daughters that much; it wasn't like she wasn't going to ever see them again. Perhaps she did find out what she did with Gin, but she couldn't have. A lot of thoughts roamed her head.

Before Erato could reply to Gin, her daughters spoke on what would be the best course of action would be and decided before she could say anything. She frowned as watched Amelia walk off, thinking that even though she didn't have a say in how heaven did things here, she did had a say when it came to her own children. However she let it go and decided that Mei's judgment seemed sound enough.
"While Amelia is washing up, I guess starting random tent inspections would be alright. I like to get that out of the way to see if their are any contraband that may be hidden amongst their belongings. Its never been a problem before with them bringing stuff and I would like it to stay that way. Plus I don't know what are the rules here in heaven for illegal stuff so if you spot something, Gin, let me know."
