[This takes place after "Mission One (Operation: Keep-Away)," and during the events of "Old Friends And Allies."]
Roiyaru stood over the doorway of the flower shop, sensing the presence of his power lingering outside the entrance. He exhaled loudly, a mixture of exhaustion and confusion escaping his mouth. Exhaustion after walking from the location of his first battle in over a thousand years. Confusion because, while he could easily sense that he sent both Shadow and his master to this location, he could only sense one of them inside.
And it wasn't his master.
"Master..." He used his muzzle to open the door. No one was inside. He immediately headed toward the back of the store and saw the security device for the Devil Saint personell. He blew a puff of chaotic smoke and watched as it tampered with the locks. The door opened instantly and Roiyaru made his way down the seemingly empty hallways of the Devil Saint Headquarters.
He made left and right turns, following the familiar energy signal he sent through along with his master. When he found the source, he was located inside an infirmary of some sort. He saw the human incarnated version of his master's best friend, Shadow Akuma asleep in a hospital bed, with an empty bed next to him, separated by a hospital curtain.
Roiyaru stood on his hind legs, resting his front legs near where Shadow's right arm rested. He stared at the unconscious Shadow in distrought. With yet another sigh, he shook his head.
"Lieutenant Seijin," he said out loud. "I know you cannot hear me, but I know that you reside in this mortal vessel. Abbadon is alive; my existance is proof. If you still care for him like you told me you did millenia's ago, then please, I beg you; gather the willpower to awake from this slumber, and help me find... the one we both love..."
Roiyaru then licked Shadow's hand, falsely hoping it would help him regain any consciousness. In acceptance that it did not help, he continued to rest the upper portion of his body on the bed, placing his head on top of his arm and watching him closely...

"So," Sara said softly as she made her way into the door of the infirmary and closed it just as quickly, "You are the thing that help out my brother and Abbadon. I am glad to finally meet you." She bowed to the creature and made her way to a near by chair that she had placed by Shadow.
She looked down at her sleeping brother and smiled softly, "I would not be able to take over the family business if he had died. This place would have burn to the ground with me holding the fire." She looked at the creature again, taking off her glasses in the process and placing them on the end table that held a vase with roses and other flowers from other members.
"If you are wondering how I knew it was you, I took a peak in my brother's mind and of Abbadon's. That place was a mess to go through. And just what are you anyway?"

Roiyaru watched the woman as she closed the door behind her, the words she uttered gaining his attention of her presence. He followed her with his eyes, still staying on the bed of the mortal she called her brother. Listening to her words, Roiyaru could easily sense that she was of no threat to him; more interested in the curiosity of the situation than wanting a brawl.
She said that she was a mind reader; that brought an abundance of relief to Roiyaru. It could also mean that she could help him with the task of finding his master, whose name he heard her mention.
"Believe me when I say," Roiyaru began, "that you would not be the only one who would suffer such a loss if Seij... I mean Akuma, were to perish."
Roiyaru lowered himself off of Shadow's bed and turned around to look at the woman.
"My name is Roiyaru," he introduced. "I am the guardian of the one called Abbadon Hakaisha. Who, may I ask, are you?"

"That makes sense," Sara said with a sigh, "That a guy like Abbadon has a guardian. Speaking of which, he is okay, if you are worried about him. He went out just a few moments ago. I have people watching him just in case the person who did this wants to attack, though I doubt it would be anytime soon. That attack..." she grew silent as she looked at Shadow again, reseeing the images of Shadow's and Abbadon's battle with the one name Arashi and smiled.
"And yet, he can't get Runa to marry him..." she shook her head as she looked at the one named Roiyaru and smiled again.
"I'm Sara Akuma. I'm his blood sister. Now I have a question for you, Roiyaru, why are calling my brother Lieutenant Seijin? He is no way a Lieutenant or never been one.

Roiyaru chuckled after the woman named Sara revealed herself to be the blood sister of the one lying on the hospital bed. He did admit; he felt relieved to find out that his master was alright. The only reason that kept him in the hospital room entertaining Sara's thoughts instead of going out and finding him himself was that when he did, he knew that his master would have no memory of his existance.
And that saddened Roiyaru to no end.
"What I am about to tell you," he started after he chuckled at Sara's question, "might not be necessarily easy to take in all at once, Ms. Akuma."
Roiyaru looked at Sara with a seriousness in his eyes that was even more stern than the stare of his own master.
"Your brother Shadow Akuma," he started, "was once Shadow Seijin; citizen of the sixth layer of Heaven, Lieutenant of Abbadon's rebellion regime against the tyrant king Tsubasa..." he paused as he gazed upon the sleeping Shadow.
"...and his best friend," he said before he swallowed. He looked back at Sara. "Your brother is the mortal incarnation of the archangel, my dear."

Sara had to chuckled at the statment made by the talking dog who held a seriousness glare in his eyes. It wasn't the fact that her brother in a past life was a Lieutenant of Abbadon's rebellion regime against a Heaven King or the fact that he was Abbadon's best friend. It was the irony that Shadow met Kings of both Heaven and Hell and was still alive to tell the tales to her.
She could not write off the fact that the creature before her was not telling the truth, the glare was enough to say that it was what it was. She looked at Shadow again and bit her bottom lip and sighed deeply. There was just one thing left to ask Roiyaru before she could get everything in her head straight.
"I'm just going to go out on a guess that Abbadon has no memories of this, correct?"

Roiyaru's ears lowered as he accidentally let out a whimper to go along with his saddened face.
"Unfortunately, my dear," he said as he began to answer Sara's question, "you are correct. He has no memory of Shadow, his rebellion nor his life as an archangel."
Once again, Roiyaru accidentally released a saddened whimper.
"He doesn't even remember me," he said in a heartbroken manner.
He looked at Sara again, releasing a heavy hearted sigh before beginning to speak.
"My master and I were ambushed right before his final strike against Tsubasa's kingdom by an estranged being named Oracle," he began. "He was skilled in the magics of the void and matched us both."
Roiyaru started to pace the small space the hospital room allowed him to walk. He released yet another sigh before he continued his story.
"The battle was long and devastating," he continued, "both to us and the city of Famiel. It ended in the Elysium Gardens, where master and I made one last attempt to stop the wingless being. It ended rather tragically.
"Oracle was able to steal my master's blade, the Sword of Darkness right out of his hands. Just pointing the blade at my master, he was able to conjure the magics within the sword. Before my master realized what was happening, it was too late. A blast exited the blade of the sword, and I watched in horror as the magics from the blade bound all of his powers instantly and left him unconscious.
"Saddened and enraged, I attacked Oracle to avenge my master's condition. Now that I think back on that tragic day, it was foolish on my part. For when I attacked him, Oracle used the channel through the sword he tapped into and trapped me within it. I was bound inside the sword, my powers unable to help break out of my prison. The only thing linking me to the outside world was a magical window Oracle accessed through the channeling of the blade's powers.
"I watched helplessly as Oracle used his own powers over the void to alter my master's memories; making him forget his heavenly origins entirely, the memories of all of his friends and allies, involving Shadow Seijin, Kanjin Taiyou and myself. I watched as Oracle opened a portal leading here to the mortals, attempting to send him through."
Roiyaru frowned.
"But I refused to leave my master to die a mortal death," he continued. "By some miracle, I was able to tap into the chaos magic within the sword and possess it's movements. I snatched myself out of the Oracle's grasp and followed my master here through the sword, cutting the wingless one in the process to let him know that he had not seen the last of us."
Roiyaru looked at the sleeping Shadow once again, sighing yet again at the tragedy that fell before him.
"I have been trapped in that sword for an eternity it seems," he said. "I have heard rumors that because of how I acted while I was imprisoned inside that the Sword of Darkness had a mind of it's own." He chuckled. "If that is the case, then I guess I'm the 'heart of darkness.' But my master has been in the dark for a very long time to the fact that he himself could claim that title himself. The same could count for your brother."
He looked at Sara.
"In a way, we all have a heart of darkness. However, it's up to us whether we want to stay in the darkness of the present, or accept the light of our past. Only then can we understand the path to our future..."

Sara made a slight nod when she heard her answer. Everything that Roiyaru had said up intill now was starting to make sense to her. Hell, the whole 'Heart of Darkness' thing got to her. She looked at her brother again and smiled.
"Well," she started as she rose out of her chair and began to open the blinds in the room, letting in the moon light of the full moon that was outside with the shadow of the day, "You will be able to talk to my brother soon. He will be waking up pretty soon. He just needs to talk to him self for a bit. I will make sure that no one bothers you two and you are welcome to leave and come back as much as you want. I might have to find a room for you or something..." she laughed at her joke.
"I will tell you when Abbadon has return, though I think you will know that, won't you?" she asked as she made her way to the door. "Make sure that he is safe, Roiyaru." was the last thing she said as she walked out the door.
"You too, Abbadon..." she whispered in the empty hallway.

[This takes place immediately after "Old Friends And Allies"]
"What a day," Abbadon said to himself as he burst through the doors of the D. Saint Flower Shop.
Frankly, Abbadon was pissed. He didn't know why, but he was pissed. Then again, he had a perfectly good reason why.
Apparently, everyone else knows who the fuck he was, except himself.
Abbadon approached the door that lead to the Devil Saint headquarters. Hopefully he could find Shadow or Sara or someone to tell him what the hell was going on.
"Please state your identification," he heard the computer say.
"Who the fuck do you think it is?!" he yelled at the door.
There was an awkward pause as Abbadon cracked his neck. What he heard the computer say next sort of put him in a better mood.
"Identification confirmed," it said. "Cherry Blossom Hakaisha Abbadon."
Abbadon blinked a few times, trying to digest what just happened. An awkward smile graced his face in the form of a chuckle.
"Holy shit," he said to himself. "That actually worked?"
The door slid open.
"I guess it did," he said in amazement.
Abbadon then continued toward the infirmary where he woke up. As he turned a corner, he was thrown completely off guard when he ran into Shadow's sister, Sara. His arms moved frantically immediately after realizing who it was, simply because his hands seemed to make their homes on her breasts when he bumped into her.
"Shit!" he yelled in surprise as he quickly placed his arms in his pockets. He really couldn't catch a break today. "I know an apology isn't going to help, so I'm not going to say anything about it other than where the hell is your brother?"

Sara raised an eyebrow and made a sigh, looking away just as quickly as she made it. "Nice to see that you are awake and alive..." she said as she cleared her throat and looked at Abbadon in the eyes.
And he tried to rebel against a Heaven King? she questioned herself as she looked at the door she just left out of. "Think next time you can ask a lady with more class next time..."she rolled her eyes as she walked back to the door that Shadow was behind, waving in that direction for Abbadon to follow.
"He is still resting, so act like you have class and be silent. You do know how to do that, right?" she questioned as she turn the brass knob and opened the door.

Abbadon tilted his head as he saw Shadow's sister direct him to the room, wondering why she didn't knock his head off for touching her boobs.
Something must be up, he thought to himself.
He heard Sara tell him to be quiet in the most bitchiest way possible; by insulting him. So he grinned and walked toward her as she grasped the doorknob.
"Of course I have class, love," he said in an obviously fake British accent. He pointed at himself with his thumb. "I'm the classiest bastard the earth has ever known. I'm so classy I take my blody tea without crumpets!"
He laughed off his attempt at humor and walked through the door. But when he saw Shadow, his smile immediately turned into a confused stare.
"...huh?"

Shadow opened his eyes slowly. It was sunny and the wind blew calmly by the sea as Shadow rose up on his elbows and smiled. He knew where he was at, so there was no need for alarm. He didn't even need to call HQ for this for he knew that he was safe.
He was within his mind.
"Nice to see that you are awake, Shadow." a familiar voice that he did not expect to hear in his mind.
Runa's voice.
Shadow looked up to see Runa, in nothing but a white tee-shirt on, smiling at him. "Lust," Shadow said as he set his glare back at the sea with a grin on his face, "If you do not change to another form or your original form in two seconds...."
"Oh alright." the Runa clone said as she snapped her fingers and turned into Abbadon. "Not funny!" Shadow said.
"If only you knew..." the Lust Abbadon said as he snapped his fingers again and turned into Lust.
What does that mean? Shadow said as he looked at Lust with a raised his right eyebrow.
"Your awake I see." the deep sounding version of Shadow said behind him, it was Rage in Shadow's form.
"Nice to see you talking to me." Shadow said with out looking at the man behind him. Rage could only make a smirk. "Is he...alright?" Shadow asked as he kept his eyes on the water ahead of him.
"Yeah," Lust said, "He got up before anyone else did." "What about Sara?" Shadow asked "I told her that you will be waking up soon." Rage followed up.
"Good...cause I need him..." Shadow said as he looked up at the bclear blue sky. " I don't know why, but I do..."

Roiyaru watched intensely as Sara left the safety of the hospital room. Although he knew it wasn't her place to order him to watch the sleeping one, he agreed, finding being with the mortal was as close as he was going to get to finding any kind of peace within himself. He stared at the closed door, moments after Sara asked him to make sure her brother was safe.
"I will," he said silently to himself.
His left ear twitched as he heard Shadow rustle in his bed. He looked behind him to see the mortal moving around in his sleep. A smirk appeared on Roiyaru's face.
"He's dreaming," he said silently.
He once again walked to his bedside, sitting on the floor as he watched the slumbering Shadow. He watched in concern as the man's lips started to form the look of someone preparing themselves to speak. Then he saw the man talk in his sleep.
"...I need him..."
Roiyaru's mouth slowly went ajar as he watched the words escape Shadow's mouth. He heard the boy speak those words to him before. Well, at least Shadow Seijin. But he could easily tell that they were his words none the less.
Then Roiyaru heard the door open behind him. He could easily tell by the shiver in his spine that it was not the man's sister. But it wasn't until he heard speech until he was fully convinced.
"...huh?"
Roiyaru turned around quickly with anticipation and finally saw him. His master was at the door, with the sister of Shadow to his left. Although he showed no signs of it in his face, his tail illustrated his happiness as he stood up and stared at Abbadon Hakaisha.
Master...

Abbadon looked at the random-ass dog he didn't see when he first left. But he did have to admit, it looked kinda cool.
No, scratch that; it looked bad-ass.
I mean, what kind of a dog has red fur, a Mohawk and a flaming tail? With tattoos for Christ's sake! There was only one explanation for this situation.
This dog belonged to Sara.
He closed the door behind him after making sure Sara was in the room. Then he looked at her with a smirk.
"Cool dog," he said to her. "Is it yours?"

Roiyaru sighed, expecting that reaction from his master. He looked on the ground as his tail dropped a bit.
I should have known better, he thought to himself. I was a fool to even get my hopes up.
He looked up and caught Sara's stare, his eyes bellowing sadness he knew she would catch. He turned around and stared at Shadow again.
"Thank you for bringing him here, Sara," he said to her. "I will never forget your kindness..."

Abbadon was completely stoked when he heard the red dog actually talk. Like earlier; it was the simple things that excited the guy.
Actually when you think about it, it was quite sad.
"Holy shit!" he yelled at the top of his lungs, completely ignoring Sara's warning about being quiet. "It can talk too?! God, I wish I had a dog like that one!"

Sara sighed as she saw Roiyaru's tail stop waging. Being the person that she was, there was only one thing that could make Roiyaru and herself feel better.
Well, maybe not Roiyaru.
Slaping Abbadon upside the head while keeping her eyes on Roiyaru, she smiled and nodded her head. "Anytime Roiyaru, just talk in small words and very slowly. I think he lost some of his class as well." Lifting her right hand and using her mind, Sara's Glasses rose up from the table and quickly into her open right palm.
"I will be outside if you need me for anything." she said as she walked out the door and closed it.

Hearing those words come out of his masters mouth hurt him badly. He stopped walking and closed his eyes in hearing him speak. A mixture of pain and sadness swelled inside Roiyaru; pain for what he had to suffer due to his master's condition and sadness because of the result of that pain.
Tears streamed down Roiyaru's cheeks as he opened his eyes. Yet another whimper exited his being as a result of facing such a harsh truth. But, he would not present weak and crying eyes to his master if he were to bring him out of the darkness.
After composing himself, he faced his master with a stern look. He sat himself by Shadow's bedside before beginning to speak.
"Master," he spoke to Abbadon. "We have matters to discuss."

Abbadon looked at the dog cautiously as he slowly yet carefully made his way on the other side of Shadow's bed, using Shadow as a barracade between them in case the dog went psycho on him or something.
Well, with a day like this one why wouldn't you expect anything else weird to happen?
"M-matters?" Abbadon mimicked the talking dog Sara called Rorari or something like that. "What kind of matters?"
Then Abbadon thought a bit. Not his favorite pastime lately, but it was still necessary. Wait a minute, he thought to himself. Did he just call me master?

"Well, it's time for you to wake up..."Lust said as he turned to Shadow's face.
"Okay," Shadow said as he kept his eyes on the water that was starting to move quickly, "How do I do that?"
"Oh, you don't have to do a thing my friend. Just hold your breath." Lust said as he stated to vanish into the sand. Shadow looked up and Rage had did the same. By then the water started crashing violently on the beach, growing closer. Shadow could only sigh but he then smiled.
"I should have stayed in bed...." he said as the wave, which was big as the small island that he was on, crashed into him. This led to Shadow's own body to jump out of his resting position and gasp for air loudly. He was able to put two and two together, knowing that he was back home and in the rest rooms.
The Dazed Devil Saint stared at the wall in front of him, then turn to the left only to see the creature, Roiyaru,by him. He smiled and said "Hello, Roiyaru...who let you in here?" Shadow then turn to the left, only to see Abbadon standing there with a look of worry on his face. "Abbadon, I'm docking your pay when I get out of bed."
