"...It's fine?" Rajah questioned Kei's statement, accidentally cutting him off in mid-sentence. "B-but he's your brother; shouldn't you at least be a bit more concerned?"
Sometimes Rajah just couldn't understand human nature, regardless how much he wanted to. If Rajah had a brother, he wouldn't just let him trounce off like that in anger; he would have done everything it took for him to calm down and become happy once more. But unfortunately, he had no such relative to his knowledge. The only other being that ever considered Rajah as his brother was the Shishi-Jin he met three months ago named Rowan, and he hadn't seen him since.
Rajah looked at the direction Shaohan walked to, trying to use his enhanced eyesight to see as far as he could. Then with a blink of his eyes, Rajah used his spirit magic, listening to the forest tell him the current location of the monk.
With his eyes still green with spirit magic, Rajah looked at Yoshi and Kei with a serious face.
"I'm going to find Shaohan," Rajah said with confidence.

"No No.....I Just mean that my brother has been like this since we were children." Kei Admitted. "I've played the brother role for years.... I know it's the right thing to do. But I also trust in my masters' teachings." Kei bowed at his teacher's name."But as reckless as Shaohan is, he is also a responsible adult, and now a responsible member of society. He will come around, he will not be consumed by power."
Yoshi placed a hand on Kei's Shoulder. "I trust your decision, Kei Matsu. I hope you do too Rajah. Let's return to meditation. At best we can begin to discover how to relax the mind in a stressful situation."
"That would be nice." Kei Smiled.

Rajah was between two different forces. Whereas Kei's words had enough meaning behind them for Rajah to understand what he was talking about as far as Shaohan's virtue and morality were concerned, Rajah still felt uncomfortable with the idea that Shaohan was out there by himself.
Rajah's stubbornness started to pick up, trying to decide to take heed to Kei's advice or follow his own heart and go after Shaohan to make sure he was okay. Finally, he sighed and lowered his head after hearing Yoshi tell Rajah that he hoped he trusted Kei's judgment. He then looked at the two and nodded.
"I trust your judgment," he said with a hint of disappointment in his voice. With a smile on his face, he watched as the two men went back into meditation. When Rajah was sure that they were, he quietly approached the woman named Maggie.
"Maggie?" he whispered to her, "I would greatly appreciate it if you accompanied me to find the monk that walked away a few moments ago. Would you like to join me?"

In a hurried rage, Sho Shaohan Xiang walked back toward town as the sky began to darken. Picking all the splinted wood out of his staff, he walked on, the rings on top of the staff chiming rhymically.
'Damn Kei,' he thought. 'To hell with him and Tokugawa. I can figure this power. It is my power after all. Shaohan passed over the bridge that connected the town to the forest. Thinking for a moment, he stopped over it and looked down. There was a muddy pathway and a small stream. He jumped over and landed gently in the murky pathway. 'They won't follow me down here.' Shaohan smirked to himself. Walking rather matter-of-factly, he continued to move on as the stream widened. Eventually reaching another bridge, he thought of climbing it , but decided against it. He moved a couple of feet before jumping back from a tremendous force of air. A giant club swung at Shaohan's face. As he readied himself for a fight, Shaohan found himself looking up. A giant Troll stood tall wielding a club made from pure stone. "MAKAMAK MAKA" the troll shrieked. "Easy big Fella..." Shaohan began. "MAKA!!!!" The troll hollered before swinging at Shaohan.

Maggie jumped when she heard Rajah whisper to him and was about to telling him off for scaring her but she turned around soon enough to see that the other tow men had their eyes closed, figuring that they were meditating. She sighed.
It wasn't till Maggie heard Rajah asked her if she would go with him to find the other monk that she perked up and smiled. She was just about ready to go home and do more work but this was a change of pace.
"Sure." she whispered back while cocking her head to the left. She walked ahead of the Tiger while looking down at her item. "So, where is this guy at?" she asked.

Rajah was glad that Maggie decided to go with him. As she walked ahead of him leaving the two men meditating, Rajah smiled as he admired her from afar.
"I don't know," he said normally when they became out of earshot from Yoshi and Kei. "I know he went this way though. Hold on, let me check."
Rajah then stood still and allowed his eyes to glow green again. Using his ability over spirit magic, he once again asked the forest where Shaohan was. But to his dismay, they gave him a location and the scenario about to come his way.
Rajah's face became serious as he walked in front of Maggie. In a hurry, Rajah grabbed Maggie and placed her on his back.
"Hold on," he told her.
Immediately, Rajah began to run at an abnormal speed, bypassing the trees and the grounded obstacles a forest came with.
"Maggie, when I tell you to," he yelled, "Jump off! Trust me on this!"
It was then that Rajah could see Shaohan, within a murky stream as a Troll appeared out of nowhere.
"NOW!" Rajah roared. The Tora-Jin immediately pounced, hoping that Maggie was no longer on his back. When he reached the monk, Rajah grabbed Shaohan in mid-air before the Troll's stone club collided with him. When the two landed, Rajah helped Shaohan up, making sure nothing was affected in the landing. But being the being Rajah was, he asked him anyway.
"Are you alright, Shaohan?" he asked.

"I'm fine" Shaohan Shouted as he jumped back toward the troll. "I don't need ANYONE!" Shaohan tossed his staff to the ground in pure anger. Placing his hand in front of the other, a dark energy began to bulge in his palm. Screaming loudly, He emitted dark blasts of Energy at the Troll, enveloping it in a dark ball of elemental energy.

Rajah watched as Shaohan ran back toward the troll, seemingly fueled with a kind of rage that was foreign to the Tora-Jin. With his spirit powers still active, Rajah watched as Shaohan's aura started to darken around him; an essence that Rajah was completely unfamiliar seeing, even after witnessing the aura of Zeshin.
But what he saw next left his mouth gaped open, when Shaohan started to send a volley of darkened energy toward the Troll. Rajah had never seen any magic like this before. And while the Troll seemed as if it was taking the damage, it reacted angrily, swinging it's club ferociously and collided with the ground. The impact caused the earth beneath their feet to tremble, but Rajah planted himself before he was able to lose his balance.
Knowing what he had to do, Rajah's eyes turned from green to dark brown as he frowned at the Troll. With a raise of his hand, Rajah commanded the ground underneath the monster to elevate immediately, causing the Troll to fall on its back. And with a collision of Rajah's paws, the earth around the Troll bended around it, trapping it inside of a stone solid prison.
But Rajah knew that the prison wouldn't hold it for long. So he once again approached Shaohan, a little slower than before.
"Come now, Shaohan," Rajah insisted. "We must get out of here while the creature is subdued!"

Shaohan's Dark Aura seemed to steal the warmth from his eyes. He laughed at the cat creatures words, looking at his hands. It followed with a louder, more hysterical laugh. "This IS power, fool." He said crudely. Turning his gaze on the Troll. "You attack me.....you DIE!"Channeling the newfound energy into his Palm, Shaohan placed his right leg over his left, stanced low, and rushed forward, the energy expanding into a shape as he ran toward the imprisoned life form. [glow=red,10,300]"Yin Style, Lion System! Compact the body, Rushing Palm!"[/glow] The Dark Energy formed a Giant Palm as it smashed through the stone, connecting to the chest of the Troll. As the stone bands fell, the troll grasped at its chest before it's arms fell limp, the gagging noises the troll made silenced. Shaohan killed it.

Such emptiness in his eyes. Such rage in his heart. For a minute, Rajah forgot that this was the same person. Before he was aware of this... power, Shaohan introduced himself to Rajah as a person of hospitality and peace. Now it seems that Shaohan was replaced by one that drives on rage and violence, especially after the display with the troll.
His feelings were just about hurt as the monk laughed at his suggestion. Rajah didn't necessarily believe that was necessary, especially since it was toward someone who only cared for his well being. Then he saw his display of power over his darkened abilities, who Rajah saw that Shaohan was starting to quickly grow accustomed to.
He watched as the energy shattered his stone prison of the troll and murdered the creature in the process. Rajah's heart immediately started to ache as his spirit magic once again took hold, feeling the Trolls pain and suffering until his last breath as Rajah's eyes turned green. And once that suffering was gone, Rajah frowned at Shaohan.
"Why did you kill that creature, Shaohan?!" Rajah yelled at the monk. "That troll only attacked you because of your foreignness to these woods; it was only acting out of self-defense. You had no right to kill it! No right at all!"

Maggie was able to jump off of Rajah's back when he yell the word to do so, but held back from helping from the simple fact that she didn't really know who these people were and did not want to know about her powers. She did how ever see the monk kill the Troll.
I think I did the right thing... she thought as she looked ahead. But then she saw Rajah question him, and very loudly too. This doesn't look good... she thought as she slowly made her way over to the Tiger and monk, I better step in before something happens...
"Hey, boys!" She shouted to grab their attention "Any reason why we are yelling at each other?"

Shaohan clenched the dark aura hissing in his fists shut. He turned with satisfaction and walked toward his staff. He then address Rajah rudely. "Because I can. If you attack me, you earn a one way ticket to hades." Shaohan laughed to himself and picked up his staff. The Dark Aura Enveloped the Staff quickly and Shaohan seemed to stare into it, smiling.

Rajah glanced at the monk with different eyes. He was positive that Shaohan had become corrupted by his own power. His anger, his impatience and his sudden lust for power had all started to take a toll over his mind all at once, and this became the offspring.
But, Rajah was too stubborn to accept this and go about his business. He had to make the once wholesome monk see the error of his ways. The only thing about the situation was that he didn't want to fight him. Rajah frowned as his paws clenched together into fists, trying to find a way to reach him.
"Shaohan, you know that this is not you at all," Rajah said. "Your impatience for power has turned you into the one thing you hate the most! Think about Yoshi, Shaohan! Think about your brother! What would they think of you if they witness the murder you committed today?!"
Rajah calmed down a bit before allowing himself to become riled up within his own anger.
"I will not fight you, Shaohan," he said in a normal tone. "But that does not mean that I will not stop you..."

A blue aura circled around Yoshi's meditative frame as he flourished his energies. He felt that with the discipline of Baguazhang, he had gotten stronger. This made him feel warm inside, and he cracked a smile. A White Aura began to encircle Sho Kei Matsu. He had finally begun to tap into his own abilities as well. Kei harnessed several elemental properties, except the darkness, and now they were coming to light (no pun intended). As both men soared through the astral plane, a streak of dark energy stuck like thunder, knocking them out of meditiation. Kei was the first to open his eyes. He looked quickly to his left, then to yoshi before looking off in the direction that Shaohan went. "Shaohan! Yoshi, quickly!!" he rushed before jumping up. "Something's really wrong here...Let's go! Yoshi posed as he stood. The monk and the archer picked up their weapons and satchels and dashed off. Meanwhile, Shaohan continued to stare into his staff as if it spoke to him. He then turned his eyes on the Cat. "Stop me from what?" Shaohan mused. "Get it straight, feline. I'm not trying to go on a killing spree....I was attacked first! Although......fighting you might not be such a bad idea. You might push my powers to the limit. I was told I posess boundless magical energy. I want to see that energy unfold! But if you choose to do battle with me, I will not stop fighting until one of us has stopped breathing!"

Rajah stared at the monk with a face serious as stone. He listened to the words he spoke and depicted something else about Shaohan's character.
Rajah told the monk clear as day that the troll was doing nothing but protecting himself from an oncoming stranger. Shaohan interrupted that balance when he approached. But even though Rajah told him that it was only acting on self-defense, Shaohan continued to argue against who struck the first blow.
That only told the Tora-Jin that now equipped with this... dark magic, Shaohan only saw the world through absolutes; a trait he was taught through protecting South India only found in those with a thirst for power. Nothing is their fault and there was no way of making them see otherwise, unless through the humiliation of war.
Rajah sighed as he planted his feet with the ground. He placed his right paw behind his back and raised his left palm open to match his face.
"I do not choose to do battle with you, Shaohan," he told him, "but it seems that I have no other choice to convince you otherwise."
His claws immediately released themselves from his open paw, glimmering in the sunlight above them.
"Now come at me," Rajah yelled, "with everything you have!"

Shaohan gripped his Shakujo fiercly as he felt his anger increase. 'Should I back down?' he thought initally. He had every reason to. Nakoyaka Rajah was a fierce sight to behold as an ally. As an opponent, he may have proved noteworthy, if not a challege. But then the darker thoughts came into play.
"Come at you? With everything I have? That's enough to get you KILLED!"
Shaohan began a mad dash to Rajah's position, only to be cut off.....by a single arrow.
Yoshi and Kei had sucessfully made their way to the area where the small party stood.
"Stop, Shaohan!" Yoshi called out, loading bandaged arrows. As he and Kei reached them, Kei only needed to see the troll to understand.
SHAOHAN! Did you kill!? he uttered. Shaohan answered his smoothly. Damn right. And I'll do it again if I have to.
Kei Matsu raised his Shakujo in arms.
I will stop you myself!!! Kei clenched.
Shaohan smiled in retort. My foolish brother, you don't have a say in the matter. Then he turned his attention on Rajah, pointing with authority. "I challenge you to a shaolin showdown!" Shaohan then slammed the foot of his Shakujo, creating a dark energy that traveled across the ground quickly in a widening circle.
Damn. Yoshi quipped as he preformed to leaping backflips to safety. Kei sprang back also, leaving Shaohan and Rajah in an energy field of Darkness.
NO! Kei yelled as he reached out to the energy field! He was Shocked by the energy. I cannot get through it!
Yoshi walked up to Kei's side. It's a Shaolin Showdown. We couldn't interfere if there was no energy field. It's 1 on 1. Yoshi looked intently past the purple and black waves of energy. Shaohan....is this...your power?

Rajah stood ready as he heard Shaohan's gloat, followed by his charge toward the Tora-Jin. Rajah sighed nervously as he prepared himself for whatever the monk had planned for his first attack, only to witness him stop by the appearance of an arrow to his staff.
"Stop, Shaohan!" Rajah heard. He glanced over to see both Yoshi and Kei enter the area. He smiled in relief.
Thank goodness, he thought to himself. He placed his readied paw behind his back after first retracting his claws and watched the three, waiting for an opportune time to interject his point of view of the situation. That's when he remembered.
Where's Maggie? he thought to himself.
But before he had a chance to search for the purple-haired woman he befriended, he saw Shaohan point toward him. "I challenge you to a Shaolin Showdown!" he yelled.
Rajah frowned a bit. Not again, he thought to himself.
Instantly the area that both Shaohan and Rajah covered was concealed within the monks darkness magic. Rajah watched as both Yoshi and Kei just barely escaped the captivity of the fortress. It was just Rajah and Shaohan.
"Please, Shaohan!" Rajah tried to console. "I don't want to hurt you! You're acting off of raw emotions, not your head! If you fight me with this same mindset, you will surely fail! Listen to reason, Shaohan; please!"

Too Late for begging now.Shaohan sped off toward Rajah, As he got closer, he began to lean inward to whatever foot was forward. Kei watched the form in familiar stride. [glow=red,2,300]YIN STYLE! Rajah had to act quickly. Once he noticed Shaohan start the performance of staff attacks, the Tora-Jin immediately knew what to do. With every one that was sent his way, Rajah used his left hand to block the attacks, swatting them away like bothersome flies on a festering afternoon.
"There's still time to end this, Shaohan!" he yelled before flipping backwards three times.
Once Rajah landed on his feet after the third flip, Rajah's eyes immediately turned dark brown. He punched the ground beneath him. And in response, the earth around Shaohan started to sprout sharpened stalagmites, erupting from the ground at an angle that if they ever touched an upright standing body, they would definitely impact the vital parts of the upper body.
Running up one of the angled stalagmites, Rajah jumped into the air, directly over Shaohan; his left paw formed into a fist as gravity started to take hold of his body. He hoped that Shaohan became distracted long enough avoiding the stalagmites to allow Rajah to knock some sense into the monk and end this showdown before it overtook them both.

Maggie was able to jump out of the way before the dark energy was to touch her but she was worried about the tiger's safety as she watched from afar.
"Why isn't he fighting back?" she question aloud. Walking near the other monk and the Archer, she looked at them. "How is he getting out of that? Isn't there something we could do?"
