[Yoshi Tokugawa]

"You can stop a Shaolin Showdown, but this energy field....I've never seen anything like it." Yoshi admitted. Clenching his fist, Kei stared into the circle. It's as if Shaohan magnified his energy through Baguazhang.....I don't know how to harness my power to that level..." He said.

Meanwhile Shaohan Xiang found himself dodging a great deal of stabbing Stalagmigites. The Rooster system (Li Trigram) focuses on long, deep footwork with one's center of gravity close to the ground. So Shaohan had no problem moving gracefully to avoid his own demise. When the Giant deposits began to compile, Shaohan leap off of them, gathering a ball of dark energy in his hand. Flying toward Rajah in the air, He cocked his arm back and launch the dark energy at him.

"Yes, there IS still time to end this!"Shaohan said. Now Fall, Creature!!

[Nagoyaka Rajah]

Rajah continued preparing for his punch until he noticed Shaohan jump into the air as well, sending a single blast of his dark magic his way.

"Yes," he agreed. "There IS still time to end this. Now Fall, Creature!!"

Rajah frowned, showing off his sharpened teeth. There was only so much he was willing to take from someone he knew wasn't acting off his own thoughts. But with the monk's sudden change in attitude not even adding the name calling, including his sensitivity, Rajah had a breaking point.

And that breaking point was reached, once he was called a 'creature.'

Rajah growled at the monk, frowning in both anger and hatred; a combination of feelings foreign even to himself. Instantly, all thoughts of trying to convince Shaohan to stand down and to rethink the rationality of his situation exited his mind instantly.

No more Mr. Nice Tiger...

With a sudden spin of his body, Rajah maneuvered past the ball of darkness energy. And with a powerful thrust of his left paw, the ground underneath the two monks sprouted upward and forward, fast enough to impact Shaohan's body in 0.01 seconds yet controlled enough for Rajah to land and ride like a tidal wave. He looked at Shaohan still with his frown; his eye colors going back and forth between dark brown and green.

"YOU SHALL BE THE ONE TO FALL, CREATURE!!!!" Rajah roared.

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

Damn! He's actually fighting now." Yoshi Clicked as Rajah changed his movement. The forced changed Shaohan's Direction as he struggled to land safely. Rolling to reduce impact, he quickly bounced to his feet as he was roared at.

"I see we've struck a nerve..." Shaohan roused. "You must end this brother!" Kei shouted after regaining his poise. "You're not thinking clearly, you're In danger!"

"Ha!" Shaohan said as he jabbed his shakujo in the ground directly in from of him, looking at Rajah through the ring. "I know I'm in the Tiger's Cage. And I know I'm the idiot whose got no room to run. But I'm thinking more clearly now that I ever have."

Shaohan extended his arms out to his sides, opening his palms, he raised them to head level and slowly brought them in.
That's why your cage....is getting smaller..."

The energy field surrounding the two combatants had begun to shrink into its radius.

[Nagoyaka Rajah]

Rajah stood ready to anticipate the monks next movement, however sloppy an disoriented it may be. But it seemed that during his conversation with his brother on the outside of the barrier that Shaohan had become completely corrupted by his power; using reason as an excuse for his actions as of late. Rajah knew better, however. And even though he was angry and now willing to fight this monk within the corridors of his own darkness, the Tora-Jin decided that it was time to even out the battlefield.

"That's why your cage," Shaohan said as he slowly brought his hands in, "is getting smaller..."

Rajah looked around him to see the darkened barrier holding the two of them start to shrink in size. He looked at the monk and smirked.

"THEN LET US ADD AN EXTENSION!!!" he yelled.

With a single swoop of his left paw, Rajah sent a boulder from a nearby mountain hurtling toward the monk at an incredible speed. In his anger, Rajah's eyes not only just turned dark brown within his retinas, but changed the color of every aspects of his eyes as he prepared to use his earth magic to a potential not even reached to himself.

Rajah's paws started to glow brown as he immediately split them apart. And with the separation of his paws came the separation of the ground. In a single hand gesture, the Tora-Jin collapsed the ground underneath the two monks as the darkened barrier continued to shrink above them.

Rajah stood on a cliff as he stared at the underground battleground he set for them, which was at least 30 yards deep. He then observed Shaohan with an unsheathed claw, waiting for him to land within his element.

"I don't think you quite understand, Nagoyaka Rajah!" Shaohan said as he continued to focus.The Energy ball of darkness Climbed over Shaohan's body, Shattering the boulder into Dust before his face. Dark Bolts Began to crack as the energy began to intensify. "Now you're caged!"

"Shaohan freed himself from the barrier!" Yoshi shouted, pointing. Turning to Kei, he slowly pulled out an arrow. "We can stop him!"

"Don't lift a finger!" Kei interjected. Yoshi gave him a puzzled look. "Come again? I thought we didn't want this..." Kei shook his head before turning to Yoshi, and then back to the battle. I don't....But...Ba Gua...I can't disrespect its rules..

Rajah then realized the true meaning behind Shaohan's words. He was not trying to shrink their arena. He was trying to capture Rajah within. And he succeeded.

Rajah continued to roar, this time out of a mixture of anger and fear as the darkened bolts of energy started to gather inside. With his ferocious look, Rajah stared at Shaohan. But once he did, he realized that Shaohan had the same look as he had.

Rajah's face then turned from anger to shock. He realized then that he allowed his anger to get the best of him; something he vowed that he would never again do. He realized that the moment he allowed Shaohan to affect his emotions negatively, Rajah instantly became exactly everything he said was corrupting the monk in the first place. And it was through that corruption that trapped him within this darkness.

"My goodness," he said to himself as he closed his eyes in embarrassment. "What am I doing?"

He looked at Yoshi, then at Kei, forced to stand there and watch the brawl until it was over. Then he saw Maggie; the woman he saved and befriended. She alone made Rajah want to seek redemption.

Rajah then closed his eyes, placed his paws together and started to concentrate. He tried his best to ignore the stings of the dark bolts of energy. Soon after enough concentration and with the appearance of a smoking green aura around the Tora-Jin, the bolts stings no longer mattered. As a matter of fact, the energy bolts seemed to cease all together. The green colored aura seemed to take up the space that the Tora-Jin couldn't occupy.

Knowing that his spirit magic was indeed working its course, Rajah smiled lightly, still with his eyes closed. He could feel it try and push out of the darkness around him. He also knew however, that in order for his spirit magic to fully break away from his barrier, that it would take about as much concentration as it did for Shaohan to create it in the first place.

So Rajah continued to concentrate as his spirit magic continued to grow stronger within the darkened force field, slowly yet steadily canceling out the darkness inside with his glowing green aura.

Please, he thought to himself as his green aura continued to accumulate inside. Please, let this work...

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

"Dammit Kei!" Yoshi spat. "You can't let the rules of the Temple dictate the rules of the real world! Baguazhang is one way of life, and sensei let you leave to experience them all!"

Kei looked at yoshi...then to Shaohan, who pushed his hands even closer together to increase the power of the ball entrapping Rajah. Shaohan felt Strain as he puhed, but the feeling of being able to crush two opponents in one day was invigorating enough for him to continue abusing his new found abilities.

Kei balled his Fist. Yoshi had struck a cord with him. Shaohan's antics could not be allowed to continue. They were....wrong. Kei decided that it was time for action. Kei pushed his Shakujo in the ground. Then He Forced his Palms forward, Then Down, Followed by placing his left leg back behind him. The Trigram KAN showed its form loud and clear.

Next before Yoshi and Maggie was a cloud of Dust as Kei Sped off toward the new 30-yard pit, making a bee line for his younger brother.

This was going to be harder than he thought.

By the time Rajah was able to rid himself of the stings of the dark bolts through his gathering spirit magic inside his darkened prison, he could sense Shaohan start to compress the ball of energy even further, shrinking it smaller than what it already was. The only thing that was fighting the barrier was Rajah's spirit magic, continuously growing in a green aura around the Tora-Jin and within what free space was left inside.

Rajah's brow started to shake, frowning in response to both the claustrophobic area around him and his great deal of concentration within his spirit magic. But Rajah continued to remain calm, knowing that if he struggled at all that his confinement would only tighten quicker.

It was then that Rajah could sense the movements of Shaohan's brother, Kei; the one who shared the same surname as his earth sifu in China. His spirit magic must have gathered enough for some to leak through his confined space. He could see him place his staff to the ground, even though Rajah's eyes were closed. It was if his spirit magic gave him a mental projection of the monk.

Suddenly, Kei started to perform hand movements that were close to what he would practice during his times training his spirit magic through Tai-Chi. Just by witnessing this, Rajah felt an incredible boost within his own magic that seemingly came out of nowhere. It wasn't until he heard what came out of Kei's mouth afterward until Rajah's spirit magic reached the level that it needed to break out of his dark prison:

"Yin Style! Snake System! Moving With the Force!"

With those words, Rajah opened his eyes to show that they were consumed with a glowing green light. His confined spirit magic broke through the darkened force field as a roar of freedom ejected out of his maw. Rajah's green spirit aura continued to steam off of him as it elevated the Tora-Jin in a slight heavenly hover about four inches off the ground.

Still with his green glowing eyes, Rajah looked at Yoshi and Maggie's direction, hoping to find Kei. When he realized that the monk was not there, he decided to look back at Shaohan, wondering if he was willing to continue his brawl with a now fully Spirit-powered Tora-Jin.

Maggie saw as all this action took place. She couldn't even keep up. She tried to keep her eye on Rajah but the other monk that was beside her ran in a speed that clouds of dust was in the way. She had to do something to help but all she could do was stand there and watch as a monk and a tiger duke it out in front of her.

"What can I do..." she whispered.

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

"No!" Shaohan's eyes opened wider as he realized that his barrier had been shattered before it could even begin squeezing the life from Rajah's soul. He could barely react before taking a high-impact palm to the left side of his face and being sent into the wall on his right.

As Shaohan staggered to his feet, Kei growled. He had elemental power and no Idea how to harness it. But He felt He didn't need it to be Shaohan. Kei had always been stronger, faster, and more disciplined than his brother. He would win the footraces through the temple, the contests of strength. Kei couldn't let him ruin both their names!

Shaohan Pushed himself off of the wall, now focus on a new target. Channeling darkness in his palms, He took charge toward Kei.

[Nagoyaka Rajah]

Rajah folded his arms in response to the attack dealt on the corrupted monk, still floating off the ground through the green aura of his surrounding spirit magic. He watched as Shaohan came to, now targeting his older brother.

This was something the Tora-Jin could not allow.

Shaohan charged toward Kei after channeling darkness within his palms. One of Rajah's eyes immediately lost their green glow and turned dark brown. And with a raise of a claw, a stone wall appeared immediately between the Sho twins that leveled the normal surface above the three in height.

Knowing that a sudden stone wall would not stop Shaohan, Rajah's eye instantly regained it's green glow. And with one Tai-Chi movement of his arm, Rajah summoned something out of the stone wall through his spirit magic that Shaohan would find eerily familiar, Kei would thank Rajah for in the future, and Yoshi and Maggie would grow a new respect for the Tora-Jin.

Out of the stone wall walked the spirit of the Troll taken of it's life by the hands of Shaohan.

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

"Hmmph!" Shaohan grunted as he stopped, the Spirit of the troll seemed even more menacing than the real one. "Reinforcements huh? Can't fight you own Battles?"

Kei balled up his fist before unleashing a series of Palms on the stone slab. "This is not your Fight anymore Rajah!" He yelled with animosity. "Let me have him!"

[Nagoyaka Rajah]

Rajah just smiled warmly at the remark from Shaohan's words as he continued to float in the midst of his spirit magic. He closed his eyes and gave a simple nod as the aura covering his eyes escaped through the crevises of his closed eyelids like smoke.

"You should be the one to talk, Shaohan," Rajah said after he opened his green glowing eyes again. "Ever since you discovered this ability over darkness, you allowed it to cloud your judgment and your ways. You became a slave to your own power, allowing it to persuade your methods up to date. So Shaohan, if there is anyone that needs to fight their own battles here today, it would be you."

"This is not your fight anymore, Rajah!" Kei yelled with animosity. "Let me have him!"

Rajah looked at Kei questionably, wondering why he did not want Rajah's help.

"...What?" he asked confused.

The floating Tora-Jin didn't understand what Kei meant when he said what he said. He was under the impression that the two of them would handle Shaohan together; that being why he wanted to interfere with the challenged showdown in the first place. He stared at both of the monks with his bright green eyes glowing in spirit magic as he bobbed up and down within his spirit aura.

He watched as the spirit of the troll slowly started to approach the corrupted monk. Then he looked at Kei as he started to palm the stone barrier that the Tora-Jin placed between the two monks to separate them.

"I'm sorry, Kei," Rajah said as a stubborn frown graced his brow. "But the involvement of this spirit involves my participation until it is finally allowed to rest. I shall not involve myself in physical combat, but I shall aid you spiritually whenever necessary."

Rajah once again looked at the troll and saw that it was preparing to attack Shaohan, first engaging him in a roar before charging toward the monk. And Rajah continued to float in his essence with his arms folded, watching how the scenario would play out.

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

Shaohan took a step backward. He slowly turned his head, surveying the area. Rajah, Troll Spirit. Kei. Feeling cornered, He placed his feet parallel before firing a dark burst of energy from his hands to boost him out of the pit. When he Landed safely above, he turned backward and extended his left hand. The Shakujo that he left in the ground immediately shot out of the ground and came to his side. He placed a Hand Around it and turned toward the hole, cocking his weapon over his head.

Kei couldn't see over the barrier, so he continued to strike it with all his might. He didn't stop until he saw his brother's Shakujo shoot out of the ground. When he saw this, He Immediately stopped and began to run around the stone wall.

Shaohan slammed his shakujo into the ground, spilling dark energy. The wedged weapon slowly began to creep around the perimiter of the hole. Yoshi Leapt up and fingered his arrows, but ended up running toward the other side of the barrier. 'Damn,' Yoshi thought while running. ' I don't have a non-leathal arrow. I have blunt ones, but at this distance I could still deal a fatal blow.'

As the Darkness made it's way around, Shaohan ran off to intercept Yoshi. The Shakujo lay wedged in the Ground, beginning to seal the hole with 3 opponents inside.

[Nagoyaka Rajah]

Rajah watched as Shaohan escaped the pit the three solid beings were inside through his darkness magic. His staff immediately followed almost at the same speed that he propelled out of the pit. That was when he saw more darkness magic. However this time, the darkness magic he saw gather above him had the intentions of trapping the two noble monks inside.

With a flick of his wrist, Rajah sent the spirit of the troll hurtling out of the pit, hoping that it would help stall Shaohan's magic from entrapping them inside. By that time, Kei had ran around the slate apparently giving up trying to demolish it. Rajah quickly floated next to him and grabbed the monk quickly around the waist as both of his eyes turned dark brown.

"Hold on."

With an upward thrust of his free paw, Rajah summoned the earth underneath the two monks to sprout underneath their feet. Continuously looking up, he started to bend his knees as he watched the darkness magic start to close the hole to their escape. And with both an abrupt stop of the quick growing earth underneath them and a rather quick leap from the Tora-jin, Rajah and Kei rocketed through the slimming hole of the darkness ceiling, sealing the pit immediately after their escape.

Rajah immediately let go of Kei, hoping he could land on his own. However, as Rajah was in mid-air, he could see Shaohan standing near the entrance of the pit. Once again using earth to his advantage, he summoned another traveling wave of rock and dirt, surfing toward the corrupted monk. Gaining speed and preparing to pounce, the wave stopped instantly, causing Rajah to thrust himself toward Shaohan, hoping to use his right shoulder to thrust into Shaohan's side at an incredible speed.

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

Yoshi moved into the Dui Trigram (monkey system) and prepared a palm for thrusting. Shaohan expected it, the same palm technique yoshi favorited in his studies. In turn, Shaohan waited to show stance. As Yoshi thrust with his right, Shaohan grabbed his wrist with his right hand and pulled it to the left. Yoshi Immediately chopped with the left. Blocking First, Shaohan turned underhand, Twisting himself around. In this Gen Trigram, Shaohan Could Strike from the rear. But Before he Struck, his eyes widened in worry. Rajah, Kei, and the Troll Spirit had missed the entrapment and now it was four on one.

'Give me a break...' Shaohan Thought. Pulling Yoshi's arms forward, Shohan Thrust back, Cracking his Back against Yoshi's chest and knocking him of balance. Then Locking his hips, Shaohan chucked Yoshi up and threw the air in Rajah's direction. Then he dove through the energy field he created, calling his Shakujo to his hand again.
'Safe...for now..' he thought, smiling.

As Rajah was scanning the air, he noticed Shaohan pick something up. But as Rajah came a bit closer to the monk, he realized that it was not just something, but someone. Shaohan threw the archer Yoshi toward him. Rajah's eyes widened, reacting accordingly to see such a sight. But the moment came and passed as Rajah immediately prepared himself for his interception.

Once again, Rajah's eyes started to glow with the same shade of green that covered his body in the form of a smoky aura. And with another spin, the Tora-jin maneuvered immediately in front of the incoming Yoshi. And as soon as he held out his right arm, Rajah caught the archer instantly. Rajah quickly wrapped both of his paws around the green haired man, embracing him before the two collided with the ground, which Rajah commanded to soften for a landing such as this one.

By the time they finished rolling on the ground, Rajah had released the man and was now immediately lying next to him. Shaohan however, retreated back inside the pit, which was now being consumed by his darkness magic in the form of an energy field. Rajah stood up and helped the man stand at the same time, out of breath by his latest attempt of heroics.

"Are you alright, Yoshi?" he asked the green haired archer, concerned if his abrupt apprehension of the mortal and collision might have disabled him to any degree.

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

Yoshi leapt up with a kickflip and accepted rajah's attempt to help him to his feet with a handshake instead. "I'm fine." he stated. "Thanks for the landing." Kei Matsu ran over to the others as he stared in to the Pit, Which was now sealed with dark energy. Inside Shaohan stood with his arms folded, smiling.

After looking into the concerned faces of those above, Shaohan couldn't help but giggle, then breaking out into laughter. A modest laughter. Kei cocked his head to the side in curiosity. "Shaohan? Is this a joke to you?"

The laughter Stopped.

Shaohan jumped out of the Pit, Breaking the forcefield into nothing. Landing nearby he approached his brother slowly. Stopping, he placed his shakujo down slowly to show peace, then placed his hands up at the elbow joint.

"Yes and No." He said admittingly, giving pause for effect." I did kill the Troll. I was a little enthralled in my powers when they first surfaced. I had to calm down to control them."

Yoshi put a hand on his chin, then pointed. "Now that you mention it... you did stop trash talking, again."

"You always boast when you're not focusing." Kei sounded, more politely than before. Then Shaohan, Kei and Yoshi just started Laughing, as hard as they could.

[Nagoyaka Rajah]

Rajah stood amongst the three men, just as confused as ever. The situation seemed to have taken a major turn-around with the three laughing as if none of these events had ever had taken place. He glanced over to his right to see Maggie standing there, apparently continuing to watch the events reveal themselves to her as they seemed to have started to subside.

But Rajah was too stubborn not to believe that this was the calm just before the storm. And even though he did not want to fight the monk again, he had to be sure that he was indeed back to himself.

Rajah slowly approached Shaohan with a mix of seriousness and worry in his eyes. Even though his eyes were glowing less green, his aura still smoked around him. Cautiously, Rajah placed both of his paws on Shaohan's shoulders; both to try and read if his spirit had indeed changed for this behavior to have been acceptable, and also to assure both himself and the magical monk that if that was not the case then the Tora-jin would not rest until he was back to his old self.

"Does that mean," Rajah started as he continued to read his spirit. "Does that mean you are no longer corrupted by your powers, Shaohan?"

[Yoshi Tokugawa]

Shaohan put a hand on Rajah's shoulder and shook it a little. "I had to Let it take me, Rajah." He said assuringly. "I let the energy take me over so I could learn how to recognize it. Sorry for engaging you." Kei snapped his head in Shaohan's direction with a stern face. "Wait! Do you mean to tell me that you put all of us in danger on purpose?" Shaohan turned to Kei and extended his arm, opening his hand. A small dark Flame appeared as he spoke. "You might not agree with my methods, Kei. But I have learned to Harness my ability." Shaohan then clenched his fist, extinguishing the flame. Walking away, he folded his arms. "What about yours?"
"Shaohan! That's Unnessecary!" Yoshi yelled. But Kei just put a hand up and smiled, snickered, and then regained his composure. It seemed that the brothers SHO were somewhat alike after all. ""You did it to surpass me." Shaohan stopped near Kei's Shakujo, picking it up from it's wedged position. "Yeah, I did," He quipped, turning and tossing the Shakujo to Kei. "and I'll do it again."

"It's getting late. Let's go back to town and get some lodging." Yoshi Rationialized, feeling like a stepfather to the twins. Meanwhile, Kei caught his accesory with relative ease ."Compete later." Turning to Rajah and over to Maggie, Yoshi put a Hand behind his head interlocking his viridian locks. "I'm really sorry about all this..."
