Rajah released his paws from Shaohan's shoulders as he started to explain why he allowed his darkness energy to take over him. Whereas the Tora-jin didn't necessarily agree with his reasoning on how to recognize his element, Rajah understood none the less. Once Shaohan apologized to him for engaging him in battle, all Rajah could do was smile.
"No problem at all, Shaohan," he said.
Rajah then watched as the three conversed amongst themselves. It seems everything had reverted back to normal. It wasn't until Yoshi took the opportunity to apologize for everything that had happened to both Maggie and himself when Rajah thought of an idea.
"It's quite alright, Yoshi," Rajah said to the archer. "This experience has taught me much. However, I was wondering if I could speak to Shaohan one last time before we part ways..."

"Uh........sure." Yoshi said, Scratching his head, waving a bit of goodbye before walking off back down the darkening waterway, Kei following, Leaving Shaohan alone with the mysterious monk and the woman. "Nagoyaka Rajah ?" Shaohan asked expectantly. Meanwhile Yoshi began a dialogue with Kei Matsu.
"So let me get this straight, Kei" Yoshi started. "Shaohan put his life in danger to unleash his power."
"Yep."
"And he suceeded."
"Yep."
"The power corrupted him, but he let it."
"Uh-huh."
" And he put our lives in danger to overcome the corruption."
"You're getting there."
"Killed a living being and could've killed us all..."
"Just to get stronger than me."
Yoshi turned his head to Kei, and couldn't help but notice him smile. "You like that, don't you?"
"Yep."

Rajah smiled at Shaohan, by the time his presence was back to normal as far as his spirit magic was concerned. He dusted off his green tunic before he directed Shaohan with the point of his paw at the spirit of the troll, still standing before the two.
"I understand what you had to do in order to become familiar with your abilities," Rajah began to preach to the monk. "But I must warn you the cost of such decisions. Like I stated before you challenged me to our showdown, Shaohan; this being was only acting under self-defense when it attacked you. You trespassed on his grounds unexpectedly and was not familiar with the likes of us."
Rajah sighed as his eyes seemed as if they were about to leak tears.
"I could feel his pain," Rajah said softly. "I could feel his anguish. With each jab of magic you sent it's way, I felt also. That is the penalty you face when you possess two elements that work hand in hand with each other. The spirit and the earth interweave like light and darkness; they work together to create a unique kind of whole. By listening and caring for nature through spirit, it supplies me with what I need to strengthen my earth control. You can say that I am somewhat of a medium for the two."
Rajah approached the spirit of the troll slowly with a smile on his face.
"Would you like another chance?" he asked.
The spirit of the troll nodded.
Rajah smiled. "Good," was all he said before his eyes once again glowed green, along with the green glowing smoke aura around the Tora-jin's body.
He once again floated a few inches off the ground and started to perform Tai-Chi hand movements. Using the art to channel his spirit magic, Rajah lifted the spirit of the troll into the air and directed it back into it's lifeless body. And through his hands, Rajah sent a free-flowing wave of green energy toward the troll's body, as it wrapped around the body, standing it up. Once it disappeared, the troll opened it's eyes.
Rajah smiled, happy that he was able to give the troll another chance at life.
"Enjoy your life until it's true end, my friend," Rajah said to the troll.
The troll smiled and walked off.
Rajah's aura immediately left him and he landed safely on the ground. He turned toward Shaohan and gave him one of the many happy smiles he had been known to give.
"To understand power is to appreciate power, Shaohan," Rajah said as he placed his arms behind his back. "You have been given a gift of great importance just through the revelation that you have it alone."
He placed a paw on Shaohan's shoulder.
"Appreciate everything you have, Shaohan," Rajah said quietly. "Yoshi, your brother, this world; everything. Because in the end, that is all that will really matter. It won't be your ability to surpass Kei magic wise, but the bond that exist through you will matter always. Don't you agree, Shaohan?"

Maggie stood there as she finally saw an end of the battle . It was good that it ended in good terms and no one died. She made a sigh. They were all good fighters, especially the tiger.
Then it hit her. Maybe she could bring him in to the Devil Saint's. He could be a teacher or something to the new recruits.
"Say, Rajah..."Maggie said as she looked at him, "I need to speak with you as soon as you are done here. Meet me near the riverbed." She ran toward the near by Riverbed as she held her tool in place.

Rajah smiled after hearing Maggie's voice; just knowing that she was safe was all that mattered to him. He nodded at the idea of meeting up later and watched her leave toward the riverbed, almost distracting him long enough to forget that Shaohan was standing next to him.
Still with a sincere smile on his face, Rajah once again placed a paw on Shaohan's shoulder.
"I guess this is goodbye, Shaohan," he said sincerely. "I really do hope fate has us cross paths again someday..."

Shaohan listened intently to the warrior in front of him. Thinking of his Master's teaching: You learn from everyone and thing, that there is no knowledge that is not a powerful tool somehow. "Rajah. You are correct, do know that I didn't intend to kill the troll, I was still not totally myself. But I do understand the weight of your words. I hope to curve my carelessness soon, as it has already cost me much." Turning, then smiling, Shaohan sprinted off, calling out. " We will meet again! But If it's on opposite sides, may the best man win!"Tailing Kei and Yoshi now, Shaohan slowed down. The sun was almost set, and there was a light breeze. And uring that time, all Shaohan could do was focus on what he told Rajah, thinking: 'And I will be better.....better than ALL of you!'
