[Testing a new style of writing]
Kojiro was a bit annoyed to say the least. He had just found a way to surgically remove the veins inside of his victims bodies. He had learned to do it with such speed and precision, that the veins would remain intact long enough for him to put the veins in a tank of preservation solution to show his victim. There would be a sharp and excruciating pain for approximately .34 seconds. Then it was gone. The nerves had been completely removed from the body preventing the brain from experiencing any pain. Part of the torturing process was showing the victim their own veins.
Kojiro would sit the the preserved veins of the victims in front of them, while he cauterized the the victims to keep the blood from spilling out of the body. This would all take place n about 3 seconds (which was a bit slow for Kojiro). The blood with no place to go, would sit inside of the body. This would cause various other medical issues.
"Fun" stuff aside, Kojiro wondered what the hell was going on. He wore a black priestly robe set With the words "Fuck Jesus" embroidered across the front and back. A black cross with a small dagger through the center. His name was neatly etched in the blade of the dagger. he pushed the door of the Cathedral open and hastily walked to the meeting room. he couldnt wait to see Tak-Tak's face when he saw this! He smirked at the thought and went to stand next to his Boss. Completely ignoring everyone else

Sensing a powerful rage entering the church, she stopped eating to see who or what it was. She saw that it was one of the Hell Kings, probably mad for having to be in a room with Heaven Kings. She also saw three more guys coming in although one of them appeared to be femme, she could still tell it was a guy.
Rosey was quite surprise that the last guy that entered showed up. If she could remember correctly, Mei made a feeble attempt at his life. She smirked when she noticed Mei glaring at him. With all these characters together and the atmosphere full of tension, this was surely going to be an interesting meeting. It made Rosey happy on the inside and she started cheesing.

Several of his friends and Kings entered at once, and it took Tomoyo one second of decision making to decide what to do. Still at the door with Ayaka, she said kindly, and with all the regal manner of one who could have still been a Ha-ou for Heaven, "The food is in the back. It is the only door that I have left unlocked in this cathedral. While we are Celestial, this building still belongs to the Humans. We cannot desecrate their--grounds." The last word was said with a sniff as Kojiro promptly stood next to him, his shirt declaring the very loud slogan of "Fuck Jesus".
Tomoyo would have to have a stern talk with him later. Not necessarily that the shirt would offend the Heavenly leaders of course; no one present at the meeting was going to be bothered by an insult to a myth. But, at the same time, Tomoyo respected the Mortals as a race, and she did not appreciate such blantant unconcern for the very people who had been kind to them. She hoped that her stern glance would be enough.
It would have to be for the moment, as she noticed that her husband and sister-in-law had walked past herself and Yomi without a word of greeting. This meant only one thing: That something had pissed Rei off and it apparently had something to do with her, or else Ren would have greeted her properly.
Honestly, Tomoyo was not in her usual mood and decided that this issue would have to be nipped in the bud, per se, before Rei had the chance to throw a temper tandrum and, quite frankly, fuck everything up.
Leaving both Yomi and Kojiro, who had stood each on one side of her, she entered the Dining Hall to find Ren avoiding Rei's gaze and Rei looking as though she was going to murder the newest King, Hayate. Tomoyo slipped her hands gracefully into her long, billowing white robes, and approached Hayate first.
"Thank you for coming," she said in her melodic tones, dipping her head a bit in respect and greeting. "Of course, I am Sanada Tomoyo. It is a pleasure to finally have a small amount of time to speak with you. I see that you have become acquainted with my husband and his sister. I hope that they have been good company.
Then, reaching over to Ren, Tomoyo knelt slightly, removing one hand from her sleeves to raise his hand to kiss it. "Hello darling. I hope that you enjoy the accommodations. I realized that the food may insult some of your associates, but I must take everyone into account. Mei, too, is a Heavenly King, and even she requires meals because of her Faerie lineage. I'm not sure what Heavenly policy is on Mortal food in recent times, but feel free to have some if you will not get in too much trouble for it."
Turning lastly to Rei, who should have had a few minutes to calm down by this point, Tomoyo gave her a straight stare to let her know that they were not discussing whatever issue it was that she had at this moment. "I am sorry about the last minute notifications, Rei. Yomi wasn't too happy about it, either. Kojiro and Ayaka had gotten theirs late as well. I take full responsibility. However, I hope that despite that--and whatever else it is that has put you in the foul mood that I sense--you will have the insight to be on your best behavior." Tomoyo knew that Rei's anger was a force to reckoned with, but so was her own anger, when she took the time to allow things to get to her.
Tomoyo was very serious about this meeting. She recognized the right to free speech, but she was not going to tolerate constant jesting and taunting of her guests. If any of her Kings bothered to do so at this meeting, they would crownless by nightfall. And while she did not wish for this punishment for some of his most trusted Kings, she would not discriminate. The Yami-ou's eyes burned with an intensity that accompanied her thought, And that includes you, Rai-ou... The thought of not having Rei as a King of Hell was unbearable; however, the thought of a lost opportunity to reconcile with Heaven and prevent another series of bloody battles with no conclusion was even more unbearable. Too many people had been removed from Tomoyo by War for her to not attempt to stop this one. And if she couldn't stop it, then she would try her best to control the damage that the coming War would make.
After staring at Rei, Tomoyo cast a smile to small group to assure them that while she was serious, she still appreciated their attendance, and walked back to the entrance of the cathedral to stand between Yomi and Kojiro once again. The once jovial words that she had wanted to speak to Kojiro had died on her lips, and so she stood quietly.

(ooc: Ano....The veins only carry the blood around the body, they have nothing to do with pain. The nerves and veins are two totally different things. And how exactly is it torture if the victim can't feel anything? The psycological reflex that causes anguish or fear is a chemical reaction that the nerves carry to the brain....so...just nitpicking here but....How is it torture?)
Rei had known that she hadn't needed to say a word to her brother for him to understand her reply to his comment. She was utterly pleased that her simple black stare had sent him to hide behind his wife's skirt tails.
As she entered the building and felt another presence appear directly behind her and it took her a minute to recognize it.
She turned to look up at the blond who entered with her and saw that he was just as visibly shaken by her aura as her brother was.
She'd thought she had it pretty well in control. Usually, when she kept a tight rein on her temper there were only about a dozen beings in the universe who could tell that she was even upset.
The seirei used to make up the majority of that dozen but since they were gone...
Ren was usually the one that could tell every minute swing in her emotional state, whether it was the fact that he was a seirei himself or because he was her twin she wasn't sure.
Tomo could usually tell when she was perturbed, only because they'd known each other for some thousand-odd years and because the ha-ou was often the subject of her annoyance.
There were a few members of the youkai monarcy who could still probably read her emotions...
Probably best of all though, even better than Ren sometimes, were her lieutenants. Shito, Kurenai, Haruka and Akiko, she swore sometimes, could read her mind even before she was made it up about something, and they were scarily accurate.
Maybe it came from being in almost constant contact with her nearly 23/7...
Regardless, there was something surprising that Hyouden had managed to pick up on her mood and she raised and eyebrow practically into her hairline to express it before answering his salutation.
"Just fine, Hayate-kun, and how about you? Settling into things alright in Lafayel?"

As Mei glared at Kojiro, she noticed that he the words "Fuck Jesus" across his chest. She didn't know who this Jesus person was but she surely thought it was rather rude of him to have such a thing on his clothes.
Leave it to the Hell Kings to be iniquitous... She rolled her eyes. Already Mei wasn't liking this meeting. She folded her arms in front of her and sat there in agitation. But of course she couldn't sit there looking like that all day, especially if she wanted to make a good impression on the elders that were present. She got up and walked over to the table where Rosey was at and noticed that she had eaten a great deal of the food.
"What is wrong with you?! Don't you know that it is rude to sit there and eat up all the food?"

"Relax dammit. There still some left. It wasn't like I was gonna eat all the food." The last part was a lie, Rosey would have continued eating until there was nothing left. Rosey left the table but not before taking a few more pieces of bread with her. She sat down away from where Mei was sitting at just so that she wouldn't be near her when the meeting actually starts. She knew that Mei would have said something about her yelling at her or about her swearing but she didn't care. She couldn't wait to leave so she wouldn't have to deal with Mei any more.

"Hello, Isurugi-sensei," Satori said kindly. He looked down the table at Rosey, caught her eye, and waved at her as well. "I see that you have hired a guard for this occasion.
Satori was honestly trying to keep his eyes off of the Yami-ou as she entered the room and exchanged pleasantries with her fellow Hellion Kings. He had wanted to speak with her, only Lailis had ruined his opportunities. He hadn't spoken with her in thousands of years, and she seemed to the same as ever. Caring for her people, no matter whom they happened to be. Who else would risk setting this meeting knowing that Tsubasa and those of her ilk would have to attend? Tomoyo really wanted to stop this War, and he really wanted to help her do it, but...things were difficult.
Why oh why did you have to get cast down from Heaven? We needed you... That was a scar, Satori thought, that most Heavenly beings couldn't get over. Why would she leave, or break the rules so that she would be cast out of Heaven? She had been a good King. Had Heaven not been good enough? Had her subjects not been good enough? Satori still wasn't too clear on the reason why Tomoyo had left Heaven at any rate, and all he wanted to do was talk to her about it. It was because Tomoyo left that Heaven had slowly began to descend into Chaos. Chiyo had been a good replacement, but she had been friends with Tsubasa, and had been easily swayed to the Sora-ou's ideas and philosophies.
His eyes knit. He knew that any being who could hear his thoughts would have considered him traitorous. But he firmly believed he was not. He was just for a Heaven with a good leader. And the only leader who had ever measured up was Sanada Tomoyo. She alone had stood up against Tsubasa, and no one else--including himself--was strong enough to. He wondered briefly how the meeting would turn out, in that case...

"Hello.."She didn't know his name and she thought it would be rude for her to ask her name but it would also be rude to not address him correctly. She didn't know what to do.
Oh man, there goes my first impression.
She quickly said after a second of being stuck in her confusing thoughts. "Yeah I got a body guard. After what happen at the wedding, you never know whats going to happen with these Hellion people."

She smiled,
"You always think of everything." Ayaka walked through the doorway and walked straight to the door that Tomoyo pointed out, not stopping to say at least a 'Hello'.
No, all her talking would be for the meeting and that would only happen when she knew that she needed to speak.
Ayaka made up her mind while she traveled to the cathedral that she was going to sit back and watch how the meeting would turn out. She was going to watch and write mental notes, making sure not to miss not one letter. She didn't want to be caught off guard again, not after what happen to her before. Ayaka didn't want to go through the punishment that she went through again. Though the pain faded away, mentally those lashes were still there to haunt her. But, she wasn't going to let that slow her down; that would be put on the back burner and she will focus on the meeting.
.....Some chicken will be nice... She thought as she enter the room.

Ren raised an eyebrow at Tomo's unusual modesty in her greeting to him, though he supposed it was just a sign of how serious she really was about this meeting.
"I really don't care who it offends, it's sensible and over half of the people attending eat mortal food. It's not something I gave a thought to."
He didn't dare look in her direction as Rei entered the room, though he could tell, for some reason, she seemed to be a little less angry than she had been five minutes ago. He glanced towards the blond that came in with her and could tell by his aura that he was newest hellion king (Hyouden, wasn't it? Some relative of Seiryuu?)
He made a mental note to send him some sort of thank-you present if they all got out of here alive.

Post by Shirogane Setsuna on Feb 15, 2008 16:31:15 GMT -4
Setsuna had finally arrived to the meeting her and Sanada had spoken about earlier. She thanked the driver and was followed out of the vehicle by two angels disguising themselves as humans.
Setsuna turned to them. "Syon, Amare, you know how testy the celestials can be, yes." They agreed. "You must be careful and on guard at all times. I will expect nothing less than your upmost attention and protect if need be, yes." They nodded assent. "Good."
Each angel was dressed in an array of white and blue. Setsuna herself was dressed modestly, in deep green.
She paused, looking at the cathedral before going up the stairs. Hoping such a meeting of sorts would be quick and painless was almost laughable. Syon, the male, opened the door, waiting for Setsuna, "Mistress Shirogane." The continued on.
In the outer hall of the cathedral, she noted Sanada standing to one side speaking with someone who had her back to Setsuna.
She waited, with her angels behind her, putting forth her best stoic face.

Tomoyo turned even before the alarm went shrieking through her head, and she couldn't help but smile. There was too much that she and Setsuna shared in ideals for her not to. She knew that Setsuna's stern face wasn't the way that she felt on the inside, and she said as a greeting, "Hello, Setsuna. I see you brought your two servants. May I request an introduction?"

Setsuna inclined her head. "Tomoyo, good to see you again."
"Not at all." She jestered towards the two angels. "Tomoyo, this is Syon." She motioned at the larger, male angel with blondish hair. "And this is Amare." She shorter angel, female, with dark locks. Both inclined their heads at Sanada.
"I have brought them with me just in-case. While I know you will not attack me, I cannot say the same for the other celestials, Heavenly and Hellion alike; trust is but a thin wire. I hope this will not be a problem?"
"As to why they are present, they are learning more about government-state affairs, since they will be accompanying me often." She apused. "I hope this goes well. Is everyone here?"

"Ah...mostly everyone," Tomoyo said uneasily. Tsubasa had not yet arrived, and she wasn't even sure if the ex-Sora-ou was going to be in attendance.
"As for your companions," Tomoyo said hastily, trying to change the subject, "they are welcome. I hope that you survive this gathering," she said to the pair of them with a bow and a wicked grin. "There are refreshments in the back if you think you won't get in trouble for eating them. I imagine that your friends, Setsuna, have never tasted Mortal food?"

Post by Shirogane Yamashiro on Feb 15, 2008 21:04:58 GMT -4
Yamashiro didn't realize that Setsuna was there until he reached the door and saw her speaking to the Sanada Tomoyo. She looked as regal as she had when she ruled in Heaven before, while Yamashiro himself had been a King, even though two of her own--Kawahira Ayaka and Uesugi Yomi--were standing beside her. He had to admit that the image made him a bit nostalgic; those had been better days for Heaven--there was no getting around that no matter how one looked at it.
However, he did not stop to chat with the Yami-ou or Setsuna as he entered without difficulty. He had decided that it would be in his best interest in terms of the presentation of Heaven overall as it pertained to this meeting. Because Tsubasa would be here, he would rather not have the most powerful force angry at him simply because of a conversation that could have been avoided.
He would speak to Setsuna when she came into the dining room and sat down.
As he entered the Dining Hall, which was the only room open in the large, ornate corridor, he saw Satori as well as Lailis waiting there. There were quite a few seats between them and the King Isurugi Mei, and a Fae that sat next to her, eating the food that had been left out. On the other side of the room were some of the members of the Hellion Army. Yamazaki Rei was speaking to a blond-haired companion who had the aura of a King. Sanada had obtained a new one already? He must have been for the first layer, the only layer that Heaven had record of Hell not having a ruler for. Tsubasa wouldn't be happy, not having been notified of this change in management.
Yamashiro took his place next to Mei, because she looked as though she could use some companionship from her own kind.
"Good afternoon," Yamashiro said.

"Good afternoon." Mei smiled back at him. She felt that was better than her other conversation with the other Elder. She wished she knew the Elders by name but she didn't want to ask right out.
She noticed that some of these Kings knew each other whether they were from Hell or Heaven. It made her feel kind of left out. Rosey being there didn't help out either, even though she was a fellow Fae, she kind sense that she had some hostility towards her.

Rosey simply nodded to the man that acknowledge her presence although she thought it was rather amusing to see Mei lock up and stammer in front of him. She was always glad to see Mei make a fool of herself. She hoped she would have done the same thing with the other guy who sat next too her but she didn't.
So far this place was seeming rather dull. Without the food it would have been worse. A lot worse. She didn't want to just stand guard and do nothing. Rosey wanted to get up and talk to Tomo since she was the only interesting person in here but she could tell that she was busy greeting the guest.

"You are right, Tomoyo, they have never indulged in such delights, but if they want, they can just this once." Setsuna glanced at the pair. They refused. Perhaps, if there was not so many people around, Setsuna herself might have been persuaded for a drink.
The entered into the hall with Syon and Amare follwing closely behind. She saw all of the hellion and heavenly kings present. She saw a few of the Elders as well.
She opted for a seclusive table, sitting down, waiting. Syon and Amare stood on the wall behind her, trying to make themselves invisiable.

Ayaka walked back into the main room as others were just coming in.
So, I guess the gangs all here... She thought dreadfully.
She looked at the fary that was sitting with empty plates and noticed she looked pissed.
"Won't talk to her..." She whispered to her-self. I really don't have anyone to talk to here...how...unfair is that?

Post by Katashima Mimiko on Feb 20, 2008 23:55:41 GMT -4
Mimiko couldn't believe what was going on. When Tsubasa contacted her informing her about this meeting, and asked her to journey there before her as a Herald with the young Mizuki. Mimiko was not realy fond of Mizuki. She was young and naive, or else she wouldn't have fallen for that stupid farce of Ren's. Mimiko had always taken Tsubasa's advice. She wouldn't have bothered to defend someone exhibiting strange behavior as Mizuki had.
However, Tsubasa had seen favor with her enough to ressurect her. Her lust for vengeance had left Mizuki with the motivation to rise to her true potential.
In the distance, Mizuki could sense the Sanada Tomoyo at the entrance. Oh, Byakko...
She didn't want to have to speak to her. As Tsubasa had told her when briefing her, the forcefield would allow all of those who were Kings or who had been Kings through, so both Mimiko and Mizuki would have to wait for Lady Tsubasa, as it were. She would almost undoubtedly have to fake an audience with Tomoyo. She wondered more specifically how Mizuki would handle it.
