Rei sighed internally at Tomo's warning as she sat down at the table.
"I'm pissed at you but that doesn't mean I'm going to do anything....detrimental to your intentions. As long as certain cousins of mine stay well away from me, we should be all fine and dandy."
She's really only added the last part as an afterthought after sensing Mimiko enter the forcefield. It was at this point that Rei began looking around for anything the least bit alcoholic at the food table. She knew she was going to have to be quite near comatose to put up with Mimiko (and Mizuki by the looks of it), let alone if, Byakko forbid, Tsubasa herself decided to appear.
Yeah, near comatose was a good state....

Tomoyo did nothing but open the barrier for both Mizuki and Mimiko as they approached her. She wasn't going to say anything to Mizuki, considering their history. And Mimiko wasn't really a fan of hers.
However, she did ask as they got closer, "Is the Mikage Tsubasa coming, or are you representing her?"

Mizuki did not bother to say anything; she had made things clear to Mimiko when Tsubasa had ordered her to attend the meeting that there was nothing she had to say to Sanada Tomoyo or her ilk. She had not wanted to attend the meeting in the first place; she was not a King, had never been a King nor had she been in line to become a King. She didn't want anything to do with this, and if she hadn't known Tsubasa so well she would have refused.
She avoided Tomoyo's eyes. He had done nothing but cause pain for her and her fiance. He had turned Ren against her. And as Tsubasa had once told her plainly, Ren could no longer be salvaged.

Mei's wing fluttered in delight to see that more Heavenly bodies had arrived. She wonder if more would show up. She wondered that maybe even the Heaven Kings that are currently MIA would show up but she doubted. Things weren't going well for Heaven and sudden wave a guilt came across her. She started to regret her ill planned attack in the 4th layer in Hell. She was definitely starting to see that it was a bad move on her part that probably cost Heaven a set back in things. Still she was hopeful that she would be able to prove that she wasn't a complete total failure.

Satori looked around as the room began to fill up once more. He put the list together in his mind of the people sitting in the room as he took everything in: Isurugi Mei, who was awkwardly speaking to Yamashiro; Rosey her bodyguard and familiar of Heaven, eating all of the food in sight to sustain herself; Uesugi Lailis was with him, and they had passed his great grand-niece Yomi at the door. She had stood with Tomoyo, with Setsuna, Kojiro with his offensive wear, and Ayaka next to her as well; Yamazaki Ren had entered before his sister, Rei, with the new Hellion King that he did not know the name of.
Heavenly bodies outnumbered Hellion ones, and so he couldn't complain. He was sure that the number count would bother some, and he took comfort in the fact that his "enemies" were outnumbered.

"You should know that I never allow myself to be represented by someone else," Tsubasa sniffed. She was very displeased that she had to attend this meeting at all. She did not want to come to the Mortal Realm, let alone journey there so that she could sit in the same architectural structure as the Yami-ou whore. She didn't want to share the same Realm with him, as a matter of fact. He had the audacity to appear in the garb of the being that he once had been--the Hikari-ou Sanada Tomoyo, instead of the stupid race-gender traitor that he really was. Tsubasa refused to acknowledge Tomo as a female or call him by his birth name, Tomoyo. He had given all of that up when he had been cast down from Heaven, and he would not be getting it back by just appearing as a being that all individual Angels were familiar with. She would personally not allow it. Mizuki had done the right thing in not speaking to Tomo; she would be shone favor once they return so long as she didn't screw anything else up. Mimiko had appeared as though venturing here was a great inconvenience involved, and that pleased her also. Her eyes narrowed to slits as they focused on Setsuna, who was speaking freely to Tomo as though they were old friends. She would pay for the gesture later. The two apprentices quaked as her eyes fell across them, but she said nothing. Behind her were Kouzetsu Gin and Tsubarisu Hotaka; they were both escorting her. She herself had dressed for the occasion. For all special gatherings or decisions, Tsubasa wore red, a color that accentuated the blood that had been spilled, both in Heaven's sacrifices and Hell's felled demons. "I trust that all those who were going to attend are here. We will begin the meeting now," she, staring at Tomo. She wanted to eliminate the arrival of any other Kings. She didn't need to be outnumbered here, and she didn't want to risk it.

Sensing the other elder that came in with two others, Mei perked up. She was delighted that the room was practically full with people from Heaven. She was also glad to know that Hotaka was ok from the fight in Hell and that Gin showed up. He needed to be here since he was going to train Heaven's army.
She heard the elder speak about starting the meeting in a voice that seemed commanding. I think we should start too. The quicker we start this meeting, the quicker we can get out of here. Mei crossed her arms. She felt that being here was already bad enough. Waiting for more Kings to show up, especially Hellion ones, would make the stay worse.

Yomi sniffed as Tsubasa approached, refusing to speak to her. She could not believe that the bitch of Heaven was finally showing herself here. Yomi knew her. She was the relentless woman who had used her to gain access to Hell. Too bad that hadn't worked out for her. Yomi did not like being double-crossed, and she would make sure that Tsubasa paid for her line of treachery.
Honestly, she didn't think that she was worthy of Tomoyo's time. However, the Ha-ou of Hell was still under the illusion of her own peace-driven bullshit, and Yomi hoped that she her bubble would be burst by the time that the meeting was over. Tomoyo need to wake up and get the shit slapped out of her so that she would realize how utterly impossible this quest for peace truly was. Perhaps while Chiyo had still been in power--though Yomi hated to give the little whore credit--it would have been within reach; but now it would definitely not happen.

Post by Takaishi Jiishita on Feb 24, 2008 20:22:09 GMT -4
Jiishita arrived running. He had gone to Hell to see Tomoyo only to find that her home was empty of all beside her servant, Avalon, who had informed him that she was holding a meeting for all the powers in Heaven and Hell. Jiishita, despite the severe lashing that his wife had incurred from Ilreg, a Dragon, had decided to attend, representing both himself and his wife. Amid all the wings and royalty that were here, he felt like a peasant, wishing that he still had use of his own wings.
He seemed to have just arrived in time, for he heard a cold, callously content and demanding voice make the "request" to begin the meeting at that moment, and to not allow any others to arrive.
Tsubasa's voice was still burned into his mind after all of these years.
He had nothing against her personally; they had met when she had taken the crown from Chikara, who had persuaded him to leave Heaven so that she would no longer be bound by the laws of the Shijin and they could be married. Tsubasa had congratulated them on the occasion, saying that there were two happy endings instead of one. She had wished them all the best, and even claimed that she was jealous to not have the courage to leave all that she had known for foreign lands.
He almost bowed in her presence--until he saw the look on Uesugi Yomi's face. They had met once as well, sometime after the crashed wedding for Tohru, Tsubarisu, Ren and Tomoyo. She had been resurrected by Tomoyo for some odd reason; Tomoyo had told her that Yomi was the only King that she would bring back using the Heavenly technology. And the look on her face let him know that Tsubasa was no friend of Hell.
He nodded his head in Tsubasa's direction and lowered his head a little more deeply for Tomoyo, to whom he was loyal.
"I'm here, and I bare news." he said shortly, "but they will discussed either in or at the end of the meeting."

Before Tsubasa entered into the hall, Setsuna smelled and felt the crackle of magic around the avenger. A small frown passed, quickly, upon her face. She motioned for Amare and Syon.
"The Tsubasa has entered the building." Setsuna pasued with a grimace. Tsubusa had once been her friend, if such words could be used in their relationship, but that time has obviously passed, when she threatened the existence of all of those who opposed her rule. Setsuna did not agree with it and therefore was potentially a prime target. "She is strong," Setsuna continued, "Even stronger than me. If she attacks everyone, do not worry about me, protect yourselves." The pair nodded.
Setsuna stood up from the table, and decided to take this opportunity to speak with her brother, the Elder Yamashiro.
The atmosphere suddendly became thick and tense with apprehension. As she looked out at the celestials, Setsuna thought it really was a shame, they were all so afraid of Tsubasa....

Hotaka walked into the conference room alongside Gin and behind Tsubasa. Instinctively Hotaka formed the Sign of the Cross as he entered. He looked around bowing his head slightly to his fellow kings and showing a bit more respect, bowing both head and shoulders to the Elders. He smiked at Kojiro and as he walked by him to the conference table, he whispered in a tone only Kojiro could here: "He doesnt care". In response to his "Fuck Jesus" shirt.

Kouzetsu entered the conference right behind Hotaka, dressed in his simple verdant robes, lavender sash, and cream pants. He was not here to impress with fancy dress and regale heavenly or hellion kings in tales of witty banter, there were more pressing issues on his mind, which he planned to make perfectly clear to those who had the power to not only hear to his words, but heed them as well. Entering the hall he noticed the various assortment of heavenly and hellion kings many of whom Kouzetsu hadn't seen in ages. The tension thick in the mortal cathedral, a dull sheathed knife could slash it to ribbons, as Kouzetsu walked past the brother of his friend, Kojiro, who like his brother was a King. Yet he was a king of the 'fallen', and Kouzetsu didn't acknowledge 'fallen' as having sovereignty in normal circumstance, but this wasn't the time or place for opinions as he was hear today, and he would have to speak to the lot of them, directly or indirectly. Looking at Kojiro's choice in garb, Kouzetsu simply sighed and continued to where Mei was seated. It was here Kouzetsu noticed another fae, looking at Mei with much discontent, Kouzetsu wondered what her purpose was here, "Excuse me, but I haven't seen you before, who are you hear with or representing?" Kouzetsu asked the other fairy, the glare from the light of the cathedral making his lens look reflective.

Tomoyo stared Tsubasa down as hard as she could. That is, until Jiishita arrived. Content that he would sufficiently be the last of the guests, she said to the ex-Sora-ou, "Very Well, we shall begin."
Turning abruptly, Tomoyo led the way to where the rest of the Kings, Elders and guests were in the Dining Hall.
Seating herself at the end of the table, she repeated her words to Tsubasa, her voice echoing over the hall, "We shall begin. You may all sit where you wish," she added to the Kings and Elders who were standing.

Rosey looked up at the guy with her red eyes and frowned a little. "I'm only here as this chicks bodyguard and thats it. As soon as my job is done i'm leaving. I have no interest in this war." She crossed her arms. She didn't bother telling the guy her name who seemed interest in knowing her business here. He didn't ask for it anyway.
She sighed with relief though when she heard that the meeting was starting as more people came in to the hall.

"I see..." Gin said, reaching into his robes, revealing a small sack of heavenly gold and silver. "Take this and be off, I am here and am quite capable of watching over Lady Mei, besides, the idea of a bodyguard at a confrence to discuss peace is quite upsurd, your services are no longer required." Gin said placing the sack of coinage on the table in front of the Fairy. Taking a seat next to Mei, Gin smiled, "And you are well my Lady, I hope you have not been without proper company for too long..." looking at the assortment of Hellion Kings around the table.

Mei looked at him and smiled, "Oh Gin it is so nice to see that you have made it to the meeting. But wouldn't it be quite rude to have her leave just when the meeting is starting. I don't want the Hellion people to think that we are becoming just like them. And the reason why I brought her as my bodyguard is because you can't really trust these people from Hell. They ruined a wedding, what makes you think they wouldn't do the same at a meeting? Rosey you just stay seated until this is all over."
Mei remembered that day of the wedding all too well. It started off as a peaceful occasion with Heaven and Hell gathered together to see four of its people come together in a union. But that didn't last long. If it wasn't for those rebels...

Hotaka frowned slightly at Mei. She should just take Gin's advice. This "Rosey" was only here for a good time. Her attitude and actions did not speak in such a way that would show those around her that she was there protecting a King of Heaven.
"She thinks the lot of us fools........Yet you would have her 'guard' you?" Hotaka said to Mei.
Turning to Rosey, Hotaka intensified his frown.
"I second Gin, be away with you. You have received your payment, now depart in haste. Things discussed here do not concern you."

"You right, this meeting doesn't concern me. But try telling that to this Fae here." She pointed her thumb towards Mei. "Her morals seem to override the fact that I have no business here. And to tell you the truth, I really don't want to be here. I rather be somewhere else drinking my ass off." She sat there shaking her head. Just thinking about getting something to drink made her really want to hammered. It kind of made her a little sad and empty as she held her hands as if there was supposed to be a drink in them. She really wanted to go now.

Smirking at Hotaka's remark and settling in to what was probably going to be the start of a very long and boring meeting, Kojiro sighed hopelessly. What he wouldnt give to be able to fall asleep. there was going to be a whole lot of nothing going on for the next few hours and he was stuck here "listening"......Or was he? The warm leather case for his PSP brushed up against his skin. He smirked knowingly. At last he would be able to properly not pay attention. The current game was: Last Dream Strategies: Battle of the Tigers. This was a very adequate way to ignore ones stupid ass peers. Kojiro also noticed that he was by far not a genius, but his best inventions came when trying to flat out avoid doing something. Thus, the wireless-camoflouged earphones were born. He could here everything that was going on in the game while at the same time hearing sort of what was going on in the meeting. Kojiro moved his level 12 Ninja over the water and into striking range of the Dire-werebeast. 132 damage: The beast went down and Kojiro's ninja (whom he so graciously dubbed Kojirette) begin to jump for joy at becoming level 13.
"These fools dont stand a chance against me...." Kojiro whispered in a cocky tone.

Ayaka stood there, yawning as she walked to her seat.
"I really wish we could start soon...." She said under her breath as she sat next to Kojiro who was playing....
A PSP!? sje thought to her self as she thought of her own device. she left it there, back on her bed. Ayaka didn't bring of corurse because she didn't needed to be distraction.
"Lucky Son of a Bitch...." she whispered.
