Tsubasa made her way past Sanada without another word and found her seat next to Kouzetsu-san, who was sitting next to the Fae King, Mei. Tsubasa herself did not sit, While Tsubasa didn't like the idea of other races in Heaven--which was why Akito Asaba was not included to outings like these--Mei had done nothing to show any disloyalty. And because she had gone so far as to attempt to face the Yami-ouin revenge for Tohru's attempted assassination, she had, in essences, earned "points" for integrity in Tsubasa's mental notes. At first she had been worried that the attack on Hell was spurned from a secret alliance with Tohru; over the passing time she had been keeping tabs on Mei, she had come to realize that the Faerie was just not that smart. Thus, she made a good ally.
Turning to the other fae, the one whom she had known as "Rosey", she said, "I wouldn't have even paid you. Take Lord Gin's kindness to heart. Since you seem to not understand gentle requests from these gentlemen here, let me make it clear for you: Leave now or die. I will kill you myself. I am sure the bloodstains will match my dress perfectly. And Sanada cannot protect from my wrath. The agreement of non-violence we reach for the purpose of this meeting does not extend to non-Celestials--" she looked at Mei--"or Kings. If I kill you, Sanada can do nothing because attacking me will dissolve the temporary peace that we are maintaining to be here simultaneously. And believe me, without one of the Hellion bile on your side you will die. Inevitably. Now leave, before my patience wanes and you see me in a bad mood."

Setsuna took the opportunity, to distance herself from all of the members present. She sat further down from the cluster of kings, queens, and elders. She had no intention to be the start of this war. She eyed Tsubasa quietly, wondering what radical belief or idea she would present.

Tomoyo sighed. Tsubasa could not make her start the meeting when she wanted, so she was taking her anger out on Rosey?
But the Elder had been right. Tomoyo couldn't risk trying to save Rosey for fear that Tsubasa would purposefully take it as a sign of agressive behavior on the part of Hell.
Tomoyo made sure to catch the eye of every Hellion King in the room so that they wouldn't try to jump in, to let them know that the situation was just as Tsubasa had said.
Lastly, she tried to catch Rosey's eye to mentally tell her, You really do need to get out of here...
Tomoyo wasn't happy about it, but she would have to deal with Tsubasa's petty whims for now. She knew that she had the upper hand meeting-wise, as most of the herd of Heavenly Kings would follow her lead. She turned to look at Setsuna, trying to gauge the look on her face, to see if she was in agreement with this course of action that Tsubasa was taking. Of course, in the presence of her fellow Kings Setsuna looked distant, emotionless--the way that she was supposed to look--and Tomoyo could tell nothing.
One thing the Yami-ou wouldn't do, though, was tell Rosey to leave. As the host of this meeting, that was a problem that Tsubasa would have to deal with herself. She doubted with seriousness that the Elder would actually attempt to kill the Fae...the fae were aligned with Heaven...

Mei furrowed her brow. She didn't like the look she got from the Elder. "I really do think it would be rather rude for her to leave just when the meeting is starting. We don't want the Hellion people here to think that we have no etiquette like them. We are far better than them, lets not give them a reason to think other wise." She turned and smiled to Rosey. "You need to be more polite. Your behavior is starting to get out hand."

Rosey smiled at the challenging Elder and leaned back in her seat with her arms out. "Kill me. Just try to fuckin' kill bitch. I don't care if you do kill me because I'll still win. You know how? You kill one Fae, then you're gonna have every single Fae coming after your ass. Do you really want to lose the Fae's allience? You already have Hell to worry about and now you want the Faeries too? Just by looking at these people here I can tell that Heaven is already weak. Do you want an over kill? Just fuckin' try it bitch. I want to see you try it."
Mei quickly tried to subdue Rosey but that wasn't going to happen. Mei sighed. "You will have to forgive her. She has been staying in this Realm for far too long and it has effected her."
Rosey shot her an evil glare. "Don't make excuses for me you ignorant women. Maybe if you weren't being so blind you would saw that she also meant that she would also kill you." She crossed her arms and said under her breath, "Dumb bitch."

Sighing at the potential on coming slaughter, all Gin could do was lower his glasses, removing them to clean them, as this was something he did not do often. Usually this meant he was actually combing his mind for the appropriate words to say, once his did so, he replaced his missing specticals, admists the aew of those who had seen his rather handsome face, without his glasses.
"Mei, please, I implore you to have you associate depart post haste. It is not her life I fear for, but all that Heaven could lose on this confrece if she continues to goad Tsubasa. I've fought next to her, she is exactly the same then as she is now, she does ot mince her words and I am sure that if your associate stays any longer her life will come an abrupt end, I am truly sorry for this my Lady." Kouzetsu said to Mei, standing between Tsubasa and the foolish Fae, turning his attention toward the disgruntled, battle hungry fairy.
"I understand your feelings, but I will not ask you again to depart. Lady Tsubasa and myself have made it clear that your services are no longer required, procure the wages that I have set before you and depart post haste. Not even the leader of the 'fallen' you seem so acquainted with will save you from Tsubasa's wrath, now be off!" Kouzetsu said to the other Fae, making his last and final attempt to prevent things from boiling over before th flame had time to reach the bottom of the kettle, the utmost look of seriousness upon his brow.

Mei realized that she couldn't do anything but agree to let her go. Rosey's confronting behavior wasn't helping at all and she was starting to feel ashamed for not even letting her go the first time she was asked to go. "Rosey, you job is done. Leave. You are really starting to make a fool out of yourself by starting a scene. Go now before you embarass yourself any further."
Mei turned to Gin and Tsubasa, "I am sorry for her behavior, really I am. If I would have known she was going to be confrontational I wouldn't have brought her here." Mei turned back to Rosey and made shooing motions with her hand. "Leave now please."

"Wait! I'm embarassing myself?!" Rosey stood up and was standing over Mei. "You got to be kidding. Yea I can see that I'm making a scene here, but embarassing myself? You're just saying that because you're the one that really is embarassed here. Not me. I don't even care what all of you motherfuckers think of me." She couldn't believe this woman. She stood there shaking her head. "You know, you're weak. You're weak and pathetic."
Rosey went over to the table and finished off whatever food was remaining and turned to leave after grabbing her payment. She was glad to be able to leave but she didn't like how she was being kicked out. It doesn't matter though, she was going to get drunk somewhere and leave these idiots here behind. She waved a little good bye to Tomo before stepping out of the church.

Setsuna regarded the exchange between Tsubasa, Rosey, Mei, and Gin. While her face remained passive, she had her opinions. She especially regarded Gin and his authority in the situation.
Setsuna stood up about to say her piece just as Rosey decided to leave, and for her own good.
"Everyone." Setsuna said, her voice resounding off of the walls and ceilings. "I was under the impression that this gathering was for the Heavenly and Hellion Kings to come to terms with this present growing disturbance. Everyone should just settle down so this meeting can begin. I for one, am very busy and have no time to loose." Setsuna looked everyone evenly in the eyes as she spoke. Clearly, she had enough, "Stop acting like petty children."
She then quietly took her seat...

Tomoyo smiled and gave a little wave to Rosey as she left. Personally, she was relieved. She hadn't wanted the fae to get hurt. She would have to take her out to get some drinks later to make this up to her.
"Symphony," she whispered, and the Lillite did just as she wanted. When Rosey reached the outside walls, when she had left the safety of the forcefield Symphony appeared before her, a crate of Windtini bottles in her hand.
"From the Master," Symphony said, "Mango-strawberry flavored. The Master says that the color matches your hair...and she says that despite the strange combination the taste is good."
Back inside of the cathedral, Tomoyo was already sitting and thus did not feel offended by Setsuna's comment. She was assessing the newcomer who had thrown the money at Rosey. He was tall, with glasses and long hair--very cute in Tomoyo's opinion. He had a very commanding presence, which told Tomoyo that he either had a very important position or had convinced himself that he did. He was speaking on behalf of Tsubasa without fear of any kind, which meant that he was either, confident, foolish, or on good terms with Tsubasa--the Yami-ou figured it was the latter because of the way that Tsubasa had addressed him in her own speech.
Being patient, Tomoyo waited for the Uprights to hash out their issues before the meeting would begin.

Rosey was really mad, so mad that she didn't realized where she was going and nearly bumped into the servant. She wanted to just walk around her but she realized that she was handing her a crate of drinks, a crate from her master.
"For me? Mango-strawberry flavored?" Rosey's demeanor changed. She was hoping it was something alcoholic. "Who's your master so I may thank her later?" She asked as she grabbed the crate out of the servants hands.

Yomi couldn't believe how petty these Kings were being. She was only a Fae. At the same time, whatever-her-name-was should have known when to get up and call it a day. Why was that Heavenly King vouching for her in the first place.
There seemed to be schism in the ranks of Heaven...yet again. It was something that Heaven had experienced many times before. Maybe this time Tomo's compassion ass would see it as an opportunity. There had been too many times in the past when the Ha-ou of Hell had been presented with a hole in the armor of Heaven and decided to patch it up herself instead of tearing the thing apart.
But now, Yomi was back to balance things out. She planned on being very vocal at this meeting, despite any objections that anyone, upright or fallen, may have to her comments considering her betrayal to both sides.
Yes...Yomi planned on being very loud.

Quietly, Mei sat there thinking to herself, what she did was actually holding up the meeting. She should have just let Rosey go in the first place and the thought kept reeling through her head. Mei felt guilty as she could feel the stares she was getting by the people who were watching the scene. The stares bothered her so mush so, that she started to feel hot behind her ears and in her face. Rosey was right, she was embarassed by the whole situation. She felt shameful.
Trying to control herself, she let out a small sigh, "I apologize to everyone if I am holding up the meeting I really am. The situation in under control. Tomo, you may begin the meeting without any more further interruptions."

"He shall do no such thing!" Tsubasa screeched, rounding on Setsuna for her earlier comments. "How dare you call us children. She did not belong here. We asked her politely. I didn't see you doing anything to get rid of a potential thread to this meeting. We don't need anyone on the outside leaking information about what was said or done here! She was a liability. Before you begin comparing your comrades to children, I suggest that you make a decision about with whom you want to side. That fae is close to Tomo in some way--and I mean that in the most offensive way possible--and I did not want her present at this meeting. You are walking on thin ice, Setsuna--your integrity in this structure we call Heaven is already fading. Many of us are no longer sure of your loyalty. Choose your next words wisely, for they will greatly shape your treatment from the majority of the other authorities in Heaven. We do not need any traitors in Heaven. I will not tolerate any, no matter what sort of past we had together at one time. Disobedience is met with punishment."

Post by Shirogane Yamashiro on Mar 3, 2008 21:50:58 GMT -4
Yamashiro contemplated the option of standing to show physical support for his sister. He would not allow Tsubasa to hurt Setsuna, but at the same time, she believed that the Toki-ou had indeed been out of line.
Setsuna had no right to speak to equals and superior Kings in that fashion. Hotaka was one layer of above her, and as such she had no right to compare him to anything but a picture of greatness or success. Any criticisms were to made in private. And addressing equals in that manner in this setting, where their enemies could see their weaknesses put Tsubasa in a predicament. She could either establish her hold over her allies present at the meeting, or risk Hell figuring out just how disorganized and plagued with dissent they were.
For his sister's sake, Yamashiro hoped that she had the sense to apologize about being so harsh at the very least. Yamashiro had never heard Setsuna speak with that much aggressiveness...Yamashiro would even say that it bordered...anger.
Personally, Yamashiro had no issue with the squirmish with the fae. They requested kindly that she leave. She was stubborn and refused even payment, so they threatened her. She took that as an adequate sign and left, making sure to gorge herself and make herself into a pathetic spectacle on the way out. It was not of importance to him, though perhaps they should have not allowed her to take payment after she turned it down. However, unlike his sister, he would use his better judgment and not criticize his superiors in one of the most important meetings they had ever attended.
He stared sharply at Setsuna, warning her that she should do as Tsubasa said and watch her words. It was true; her reputation in Heaven was deteriorating, and she needed to change that. She was making herself vulnerable.

Setsuna remained stoic and unaffected as Tsubasa made her threats. She was no stranger to being threatened. Setsuna sighed inwardly; what she wanted was for the damn meeting to begin and end without any violence, unfortunately, that seemed impossible for the feuding celestials.
She weighed Tsubasa's words with much thought. Both Heaven and Hell would want to know her position on the matter. It was evident that no one really knew where she stood. Setsuna would have to make everyone understand that peace was the favorable outcome, no choosing sides.
Setsuna cought the scowl from her brother. Apparently, she had oversteped her boundaries; something Setsuna was used to doing so often, she did not realize what she said until after it was proclaimed.
This just could not be happening; they were taking it all to seriously. Fine, she would give them what they wanted, even if it threw everything into anarchy.
"Let me first say, it was not my intention to belittle anyone, no matter your rank or status." Setsuna looked directly at Tsubasa in a stubborn-kind-of-way. She did not let her passive face betray what she was really thinking. "We have come for a meeting, have we not? I was merely suggesting that it should begin. That is all." Setsuna sat indifferently waiting for a rebuttal.
She motioned for her two angels, who where trying to make themselves invisable on the wall, to come to her. "Syon, Amare," she whispered to them, "please wait in the hall for now." They did as told.
Setsuna crossed her arms and sat back in her chair...waiting...

Rei was mollified, to say the least. She didn't feel the incident could have been anymore humorous if she had put in her own two cents. It had worn down her temper at the meeting and had given her a chance to see first hand the discension on the divine ranks as Ren had only described to her before.
Settling her gaze on a pair of amused golden eyes, she could see that the sentiment was echoed by her better half.
Heaven just wasn't what it used to be. It wasn't cowed under Tsubasa like it had been in her cousins first life. She had very few supporters in reality, despite how many people had a habit of kowtowing to her in her face. Her most potentially dangerous enemy outside of hell was the one king whom no one in centuries of heaven's reign, no one had tempted to lay a hand on. She was the oldest king and the only one of the original heavenly kings left in office.
Upright or not, Rei reflected, Setsuna could possibly be one of the Infernal realms greatest allies. One to break the system down from the inside out like Ren hadn't even dreamed of doing.
She made a mental note to find someway to get Setsuna to talk to her, even if for a few moments.
"Are we done yet? I can't imagine that this entire meeting is being derailed by a fae. Mei was right to bring a bodyguard, all things considered." She grinned slowly and purposely at the Omoi-ou, making sure her fangs were visible. "One us demons may have been wanting a taste of some fae meat. Now she's the only one available without her tasty little side peice as a barrier against the hounds of hell."

Getting the feeling that any imput he would have had into the convorsation would have only served to add fuel to the fire and would have probably forced Tsubasa to call his loyalty to heaven (such as it was) into question, Ren remained silent and calmly took up a seat next to his sister.
While he wasn't the type to go outright stating that he was more than a little bit of a turn-coat, he hoped the gesture would state, in all it's subtlety where he stood in the matter.
He winced as he met Rei's eyes and knew she was plotting something. The way her mind worked, he was more than certain that it wasn't going to be a pretty little picnin for all her closest friends--her comment after that only served to reinforce that opinion.

"I am in agreement with Lady Tsubasa, Lady Setsuna, your comments are out of place, directed at your comrades, and begs the question of where your loyalty lies." Gin said looking through his pristine lens at the Hellion assemblage. "It appears we already have enough desertion amongst our ranks." Gin continued, looking directly at Ren, no sparing any effort to mince words or soften the tone in which he spoke.
Gin then urned his attention to Rei, over hearing her comments on Mei, "So it speaks without it's master's permission. It's amusing how someone who has never engaged in any form of physical combat to my knowledge can speak so wantonly about someone being 'meat' to be devoured, as if they were going to do it themselves." Gin said leaning back in his chair, smiling as he slightly nudged Mei, coming to his Kings Defense. "I must implore that this meeting commence, their are pressing matters in the heavens to attend to, taking the liberty of speaking for those I came with, we don't have the time to enjoy the mock pleasantries of fancy dress, mortal food, traitors in our ranks, and skirmishes with cowards who had behind veils of anger and spells, in fear to pick up a blade."
"We are not of Hell, and will not abide by as our Realm continues to be annexed during this occupation, being treated as a vassal state as our Kings and Elders parade around with the idea of peace between those who reek of disorder and betrayal, is too grave an insult. Gin said, his tone passionate, his words truthful, seeking to spur more conversation, as this seemed to be the only form of communication the 'fallen' seemed to respond to. Petty innuendos, and jests at characters was not Gin style, but circumstance call for more creative methods.

Mei was not pleased at the comment that the Hellion King made at all to her. However she was glad that Gin had spoken up and took her defense. With the encouragement that she got from his nudge also let her know that Heaven, or at least Gin, would come to her defense.
She let those thoughts go to the back of her mind though, Gin speaking about Hells occupation over Heaven sounded like he was trying to get everyone focused at the meeting at hand.
"Yes, I think this whole idea of peace is just a cover up, a cover up that would end the lives of us Heaven beings. Already we have been missing some our Kings, we haven't heard from them or know of their whereabouts. These Kings seemed to have some kind ties to Hell. I would ask if you any of you Hellion people know anything about it, but I'm sure that you people won't give us an answer.
"We can't have peace with you people, the union between Heaven and Hell has already proven that. We can't even be sure that Ren here can be trusted, his wife could have corrupted him. He made no attempts to aid me when I tried to the best of my ability to bring down the Fourth Layer in Hell. Instead, he had the nerve to just stand there and watch." She looked at Ren for the first time with hurt in her eyes. "What kind of person stands there and watch as their comrades nearly get beaten?"
